In 1994, Diane Fager, Registered Dietitian, along with her husband Vance started working in the assisted living industry. Vance had worked in the acute care industry as a Hospital Administrator and Corporate Vice President of a national Hospital and assisted living management company. Vance became a partner in a company which designed and franchised assisted living businesses nationally.
As a new small residential facility administrator, I was overwhelmed by the thought of menu planning and shopping. Fortunately, we use Grove Menu's and I found the system to be a wonderful tool. I can easily customize the menu to meet the needs and preferences of our residents. The shopping list is organized clearly by category, allowing me to go down an aisle and know exactly what I am picking up there.

I absolutely love this program!!!! After getting hired for Amaran Senior Living and having to develop menus for our residents, that was kind of intimidating. I learned that we would be implementing a software called Grove and that this software would do everything for us and when I say "everything" I mean everything. From generating its own menu, recipes, menu templates, waste spreadsheets, equipment temperature logs, purchase spreadsheet, pull spreadsheet, prep spreadsheet I mean you name it. my stress level went from a 10 to a 2. Thank you Grove menus for developing this amazing tool for chefs

I have used Grove Menu system within my communities for several years now. The team is ultra responsive and open to working with our teams on specific menu needs as they arise. The training and use of the system is very easy regardless of the levels of abilities of our staff members. I would recommend the use of Grove to anyone with help on menu planning, compliance with state regulations related to sign off by a Dietician and all the tools they provide to make our Culinary staff successful.

The management company for our Senior Living property uses Grove Menus to cover themselves with Dietitian certified menus. However, they change all the menus and write their own actual ones with stuff they can serve the residents because the Grove menus are horrible and extremely cheap which in turn satisfies the very cheap PRD they use for the residents. Its bad, and if you served what's on Grove Menu the residents would complain for sure.

We use Grove Menus for our family care homes. The menus meet all state and local regulations. The system is easy to use, and is easily tailored to meet each residents needs. The recipes are very good, and the shopping list helps us stay organized. It is also very well priced and the customer service is excellent.
