After four weeks of donations the Light-a-Light fundraiser has received $11,475 from a total of 146 donors. Our goal of $30,000 is definitely within reach.
One of the primary missions of the Fairhaven High School Alumni Association since its reactivation in 1980 has been the preservation of F.H.S. Earning a place on National Register for Historical Places made the building eligible for grant money from a variety of sources including the Massachusetts Historical Society which awarded us $50,000 towards the renovation of Room 7 and the Knipe Auditorium and the Town of Fairhaven has received grant money for restoration of the outside of the building.

Services
Alumni and graduates often contact members of the FHS Alumni Association seeking information on gift ideas to be offered to the school or its students on behalf of their graduating class. To that end, we offer the following class gift information as a service to all FHS alumni. The FHS Alumni Association does not benefit from any of these donations.
Over the years a number of classes have contacted the Alumni Association with questions about how to get their class reunion organized. To provide some assistance we have developed a series of tips to help you get started and/or advise you of some of the details that need to be addressed in your planning.
The Memorial Brick Park, located on the Larch Avenue side of Fairhaven High School, is a beautifully designed and landscaped space that was created by the Memorial Brick Park Committee, and is now administered by the Fairhaven High School Alumni Board of Directors. The Park offers a wide range of donation possibilities for classes and individual alums of Fairhaven High School who want to make a donation to an annual scholarship fund.
Thanks to the efforts of the Millicent Library under the leadership of Carolyn Longworth and Archivist Debbie Charpentier, we can now enjoy digital versions of 104 Fairhaven High School yearbooks! We're not aware of any other Alumni Association that can provide this access to so many class yearbooks.
Thank you for your interest in donating to the Fairhaven High School Alumni Association. Your donation money goes directly into funding restoration projects, scholarships, grants, and other worthwhile projects that benefit the students of the high school. You'll be transferred directly to our secure Paypal site to process your donation.

I do not recommend new students to come here. The way the school works is weird and dumb. If there is a hurricane or bad snow storm school will still be open. Its like they dont even care for there students, just saying dont come here. and all the boys think they are cool and fighters but no one knows how to fight at this school, every one trys to be tough guys
