We are dedicated to helping students grow in their knowledge of agriculture, the environment, and natural resources for the benefit of Oregonians today and in the future. Agriculture in the Classroom is a nationwide educational program designed to help students develop an awareness and understanding that agriculture is the source of our food, clothing, shelter and other essentials.
We are located in Corvallis at the Oregon State University campus thanks to the College of Agricultural Sciences that provides the office space. Oregon AITC impacted more than 230,000 students across the state during the last school year. Oregon students, grades K-6, are invited to submit original artwork about Oregon agriculture for the contest. We encourage students to use a lot of creativity and color in their artwork. Every classroom who submits a summary sheet with their artwork will receive a personalized certificate of participation for each student.
