Our shoes run true to U.S. sizes and are crafted to a standard D medium width. We currently only offer whole sizes and suggest sizing down to the nearest whole size if you wear half sizes. If you prefer a wider fit, we suggest selecting one size up. At this time, we only carry full sizes. We suggest sizing down if you wear half sizes.

Overall I think these shoes provide style and value. Service is excellent. I ordered a pair and with standard shipping it came the very next day. The box includes a shoe horn and a storage bag. The first time I wore these and went to the mall after about 30 mins of walking my feet started to hurt and I got blisters on the sides and back of my foot. I'm thinking this might just be the break in period. We will see after another week of wearing.

3 stars is being generous, I ordered the shoes online and it arrived no problem, a day late but whatever. Once I opened the box I realized the quality or lack of, to be specific the leather was good, perhaps a 8 out of 10 for the price but the rubber sold was absolutely sub par, it reminded me of my fathers 1980s ping pong shoes, a time were no shoes were good. It was a little too big too, and myself living in Canada the refund policy was that I had to pay for the shipping, this is not to be negative but rather informative if you live outside the states. Overall disappointment, 3 stars is generous

My boyfriend and I discovered Marc Nolan shoes when we lived in Wicker Park and ever since we stepped in the store we both knew these were very unique and good quality shoes. Due to COVID-19 we unfortunately can’t go into the store anymore, but I just ordered the Aiden Black combat boots for my boyfriend and they fit great - he loves them! I love Marc Nolan shoes and their quality. I've brought at 4 pairs of Marc Nolan shoes and they are all quality. I have bone spurs and a foot condition related to an old injury. All shoes don't fit me properly. All of my Marc Nolan shoe fit my nad hold my feet properly. There's even one pair that I wear everyday. I wear them to the grocery store and everywhere else. They are very comfortable and hold my foot in place. I have shoes fri\om other shoe makers that sit in my closet unwored because they have the fit of Marc Nolan shoes. I love the shoe styles and more than that...the customer service! I had a delivery issue and Sebasian sent an email asking why the shoes were returned. I was just as confused and had I not received that email, I would not have known they were sent back. Sebasian then arranged a re-delivery to my other residence and the shoes arrived right away. These shoes are very stylish, dressy but sporty, with outstanding support.

Ordered a pair of shoes online without ever having worn this brand before. The quality of the shoe was really good. Unfortunately I had ordered a size too small. I emailed them about a return and within a few hours I got a reply from Sebastion. He sent me a return label right away. I had wanted to exchange them for a bigger size but they were out of the size I needed. Sebastion called me personally to apologize for being out of the size I needed and recommended a different style of shoe, which I loved.

I had a great experience purchasing some casual winter boots at this store. The customer service was excellent and I got to look at a lot of different styles and options while having a great conversation with the staff. I had no idea the store was just around the corner from me and will definitely be back again.
The price range for the excellent quality and unique style of the boots was also a great plus. I did not meet the owner Sebastian that the rest of the reviews seem to be raving about but I had a wonderful experience with the excellent staff he has in store for when he’s away!

Shoes are sleek and look really good. I have got a few random "nice kicks" on the street while wearing them. But...the pair of Jasper Black Wing Tip Sneakers I bought are the most uncomfortable shoes I have had in recent years. I have been hoping to break them in by wearing them a lot but all I have accomplished are compliments and sore, blistered feet. I even got a pair of dr scholls gel fancy inserts which solved the heel blistering but the rubbing around the sides continues. The second pair I got, the derbys, are way more comfortable. I've been going to Marc Nolan for awhile. They were originally called Dursen & then rebranded. The business is all about high quality men's dress shoes with some casual shoes thrown in. The highest priced item is around $200 and average dress shoe goes for $115. I have a few pairs of dress shoes by them that over 2 years old now & still look great. I also own some winter boots that are lined with fur from them that I love. This a fantastic business for affordable luxury footwear.

First, let it be known that I hardly ever write reviews. However, this place truly deserves a mention. I like to consider myself a pretty stylish guy who likes a balance of standing out but within reason. Sebastian is the absolute best. He is very nice and really cares about your style, fit, and actually takes the time to talk to you about getting the right shoe. In addition he is very educated on all things footwear down to manufacturing and leather choices.

I initially learned about Dursen through a Spring Rewards promotion. I'm not a "shoe guy" by any means but this is a high end, boutique store experience for the same price that you would find at a department store.
As others have said, Sebastian is the man. He knows his trade and quickly adapts to your personal sense of style. You get the feeling that he is trying to cultivate long term customers and wants you to leave genuinely happy with your purchase.
Oh yeah, and there is a pool table in the middle of the store which is cool.

I bought two pairs of shoes today in Sebastian's shop...He is an amazing salesman who truly believes in the product that he is selling. Dursen shoes are top quality. I bought a pair of dress shoes for under $100 that are comparable, if not better, than a pair of Florsheim's that I bought for $220 a few years back. On top of the quality of the store and the product, Sebastian is just a fantastic person. I ended up talking to him for nearly an hour after buying my shoes. The next time I am in the neighborhood, I will be stopping by to shoot some pool and share a beer.

Stopped in on a whim looking for some new dress shoes for my boyfriend. He loved them and now Dursen is his regular brand! Wide range of selections, all quality made. The customer service was top-notch, everyone was really friendly. And they have a pool table! We felt very welcome, like we could hang out there before/after shopping, which was nice. Highly recommended!

This store was recommended to me by a friend. I purchased four pairs of shoes. The shoes look like designer shoes and are very affordable at $80-100. I always get compliments on my wing tips. Sebastian is a great owner and has continued to follow up with me. He genuinely cares and appreciates all his customers. He made me feel very welcome the first time I came to his store. Went here with my boyfriend over the weekend. Initially we just wanted to take a peek and we ended up buying shoes for the both of us. They have a great selection of men's going out shoes which my boyfriend bought. He loved them. And they were stylish and unique. I bought a pair of sandals which I wore the next day. Lots of walking around and my feet didn't hurt. Also the shoes didn't break apart. Great customer service. I will definitely go back for my next shoe buy
