Cha-Tel is owned by over 3,000 employees and retirees of Frontier, Verizon, AT&T and its subsidiaries, Life Bridge of Kanawha Valley and its subsidiaries, Pinkerton/Burns Security, AVI Food Systems and Fibernet who work in Kanawha, Putnam, Clay, Boone, and Lincoln counties, and by members of their families, and Cha-Tel's employees.

We are a non-profit financial institution, which means that our profits go back to our members in the form of lower loan rates and competitive dividends.

Services
Since that time we have grown to over 10 million in assets and over 2,100 in membership. When you become a credit union member, you become one of its owners. You help to elect the officers and you are eligible to serve the membership as a volunteer. You can play an active role in guiding your credit union.
