So bummed when I went to try this place for the first time. In spite of mask mandate, the man working the pizza counter did not wear a mask. Every customer walked in wearing one. He also picked up the pizza with his bare hands, so spatula or other utensils. Bare hands and no mask. Assume he was working register and handling money as well. Some work being done in the ceiling with ladders all over, wires, and open ceiling right over the food counter. Turned around and left. This is unsanitary under normal circumstances.

To be closed 1/17-1/20, 2022 for remodel. On 1/15, 6pm quite busy, congested takeout area. Limited parking, a few patio tables, service is trying but not smooth. Sausage pizza slice was a-ok, I liked the sausage, dough, and crispiness. I would like a bit more sauce and better flavor under carriage. Not too thin, but a-ok thickness. Sausage hero was surprisingly not hitting the spot when it was finally ready. The sausage, sauce, cheese, and bread was overpowering for me on this day so I didn't eat even half of it. Phenomenal pizza! Can attest this is legit NY style pizza. We ordered large half eggplant parm/half cheese pie to go. The crust was the perfect thickness with just the right amount of crisp. The toppings and sauce were flavorful. I usually stick to simple pies when trying out new places but the reviews really sold me on the eggplant parm. Highly recommend this place and look forward to trying more slices.

Best pizza I've ever had!! I can't believe I stumbled on this place by accident and now I am addicted. The amount of options is astounding and they are all delicious! The Buffalo ranch and Greek are my favorite. I love their thin crust and the flavor is seriously off the chart. You can't go wrong here and it's one of few places in Solana open late so just go already!

Been searching for strombolis every time I come to the San Diego area. Can't find a good one in Phoenix Arizona. I am so glad that I found Bongiorno's. Excellent stromboli and New York style pizza. I ordered there and the gentleman said while you're waiting go ahead and help yourself to a free soda. That's really cool. Food is amazing, can't wait to come back for my next visit and eat here.

It was my first time visiting this pizza spot and was happy I did. They have a large variety of different types of pizza by the slice and for a great price. I had two slices and a drink for under $10. The staff was friendly and service was quick. They have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating too! Very good 👍

Our Friday movie night went awesome thanks to Bongiorno's pizza, we order a large 18 inch half cheese half salami and thanks to coupons they add a order of garlic knotts.
Thw pizza was good, new york style buuuuuut then we try the garlic knotts and the fight for then start!! Pretty awesome and imI belive good with everything!! By themselves with a good beer or as bread for a fancy meal!!
We surely come back for another pizza, but more important those water mouth garlic knotts!

When I visited, there were lots of teenagers and it feels like a high school hot spot. It reminded me of a pizza place I used to go to back home in high school. The employees were nice and explained some of the menu options I was confused about.
The garlic knots are pretty big and loaded with Parmesan. It also came with a side of marinara or ranch. The pizza slices are thin and topped off pretty heavily. We tried the veggie, pepperoni

We order from Bongiornos's frequently for work; it's easy and we can all find something we like. Antipasto salad with their homemade dressing is fantastic! Crime scene, buffalo chicken, supreme and verde are our favorites. Their gluten free crust is thin and crispy and doesn't taste gluten free at all.

Came here with a friend who raves about this place. He gets it for lunch often and since we were in the area insisted that we had to try it! We picked up a few slices to go and the pizzas were delicious. I got one with ricotta and spinach as well as their "Miramar" slice and they were heated to perfection. This is one of those heat by the slice places once you order them. The crust is crispy and the toppings are loaded onto the pie. I really enjoyed this place and will definitely be back if i'm in the area!

My brothers and I grew up working in an Italian restaurant in Florida - the owners were from Naples, Italy and they taught us not only the amazing flavor and colors and beauty of REAL Italian food - one side of the restaurant was a full service restaurant and the other size was the take out pizzeria. And in my career, . . . . I have spent considerable time in NY and enjoyed tremendous pizzas across the city. And I have vacationed several times all over Italy. So, I know a little something about REAL pizza.

Fantastic thin crust pizzas and sandwiches! They are pretty popular during weekdays lunch, but usually always have a great selection of pizzas to choose from. Pick a slice and they heat it up in the oven. Generous toppings and great flavor. I'm a big fan of the monstrous sandwiches too. Definitely would recommend giving this place a go!
