Ordered a meatball Sub and a bbq chicken sub. It was supposed to come with chips and peppers, but it was just the sandwiches. They are huge which is great, but very messy. I wish it came with forks. My meatball sandwich had a weird taste to it, but we liked the bbq chicken sub. If I were to go back, maybe I would try a pizza. I just wish I had my chips.

Palomar has been a long time favorite and we were so disappointed when it closed temporarily during the pandemic. I'm not sure but I think it might be under new ownership or management or something, I don't care, I'm just happy that it's open again. I ordered pizza last night and my conversation with the young man who took my order was just hilarious. He said his name was Arley (sp?) and he was engaging and sincere and very very funny. He was so nice and then when he was hanging up the phone he goes "hey I'm the one who's going to bring you your pizza so I&apos

I just want to start by saying I know we ordered pasta from a pizza joint so Im sure that changed our experience. They might make a great pizza but I wouldn't recommend their pasta at all. My husband ordered chicken parm which came already cut up into three very small sections, and definitely tasted pre cooked and reheated and the penne was so over cooked it was mush. My lasagna had a wonderful meat sauce on it but the lasagna itself was just layers of noodles and ricotta...light on the ricotta. It didn't help that the customer experience was not great, it felt like we were interrupting

Hands down best Italian food in Vista/Carlsbad!! Service is top notch, food is scrumptious, delivery is top notch. I've been looking for a pizza place for 20 plus years that I can call my home pizza place like I have back home. I finally found it!!
The pictures are spot on, the flavors the pizza the pastas the salads absolutely amazing & delicious. Again the hospitality from start to finish is top notch. You don't find it often enough these days & when you do it's good to let others know your appreciation & gratitude

Got the supreme base upon the reviews and was totally disappointed, the dough did not taste like hand tossed at all but frozen pizza dough, pizza was mediocre at best. Dont know if they make thier dough fresh but I could have made a better pizza at home for one third of the price. This is just over priced frozen pizza dough with a some toppings.

We had the pizza and Anti-pasta Salad the food was fresh hit and this is a must eat pizza. The staff we meet were all friendly and willing to serve. I don’t give it much for the tables and overall atmosphere. In the front of the place is plain Jane or Joe or Jack. But the food is top notch the dressing for the antipasto salad is outstanding salad itself extremely well-made and the pizza was very very very good again this is a must go and try.

This store makes a pizza that keeps us going back again, and again.
It has new owners, they came across as being serious about the quality and taste of their pizzas, and their other Italian dishes.

Wonderful experience at this great gem in the Vista/San Marcos area!! I was on a temporary dairy free, meat free diet so this time my family and I ordered vegan options like their vegan pizzas (super loaded with veggies and dairy- free creamy, cheese), dairy free Greek salads (loaded with kalamata olives, sun-dried tomatoes, red onions, basil, mixed greens and a wonderful vinaigrette!)
OMG their garlic bread sticks with house made marinara are ADDICTIVE!! I seriously could've eaten the entire pan myself but sadly I had to share with the 6 others of us there that were dining in!

So glad I found this place! Had a referral from the internet site NextDoor and man was that guy right. Best Italian food, you even get to pick your pasta and sauce! We have always preferred Angel Hair with Marinara and Alfredo with Cheese Raviolis. Both were fantastic. And the pizza....it's made with real cheese!!! We got Pepperoni and a combo and they did NOT scrimp on the cheese. Excellent ingredients. We really miss Casa Angelos, but now we have a new favorite and it's just around the corner. Reasonable prices too. Definitely recommend!!!!

I have been here many times, but now that it has new owners I wanted to see if anything changed.
I was very glad to see that the food is as good or better than before with an expanded menu, great portions and very fair pricing. We fell in love with the lasanga, so much so that when we had so some surprise visitors, we ordered for us al, a family meal of sorts. It was awesome.
Good luck to the new owners, I know we will be back again.

Our family is super happy that new investors and owners have re-opened Palomar Pizza. When the previous owners shuttered on Jan 1, we tried out 4-5 other places and were not satisfied.
Ordered pizza, garlic/Parm breadsticks and a large house salad last night for pickup. Awesome!
Both new owners were there and from my understanding one of t he m worked for the previous owners. Menu is the same. Recipes are the same. Taste is the same (great!).
The inside is somewhat bare as the re-ramp up. They don't currently have any specials running, they are just trying to ramp up.

Came home from a long road trip-ordered 2 Chicken Alfredo, 1 Cheese Pizza, 2 Calzones, garlic bread and a medium Ceasar salad.
Other than the Ceasar dressing being a tad bland, and the garlic bread a tad thick for my liking, the meals were excellent.
And, they delivered as they stated, under 35 minutes!!

Just ok pizza. Disappointed that you have to order a whole pizza and can't order slices after midday hours.
It seemed that the employees just didn't want to engage. The experience was less than stellar.
The order was accurate and well packaged. Like I said earlier; the food was just ok.
Give it a try; this was just my experience. Hope yours is different.

Ok I'm not a big pizza fan...but this place is amazing!! There pizza, pasta, sandwiches, and salads are all great and made fresh. The employees are friendly and helpful. If you have kids they have a shelf by the door with crayons and books and stuff. Really just a great family pizza parlor that is amazing!

For a pizza place, these guys have great salad, sandwiches and other fare. Lasagna is awesome, meatballs to die for. Wings are better than most restaurants. Oh yeah, and the pizza is great. 😃 We eat there all the time. They also support the local community sports teams, schools etc. Wonderful people!

I had a birthday party at Nomad Raceways and have used Palomar Pizza before. Since I needed the pizza at 11:00 a.m. but they don't open until 11, I wasn't sure if it was going to work out. But I spoke to the owner the night before and he assured me no issues. 11:00 on the dot the pizza was there, hot and delicious! Kids loved it and it made it so easy. Excellent service!
