I really like this place to watch nature and enjoy walk and views, sometimes you can watch people kayaking or some boats. This time were foggy pictures.

A fun and lovely place to take a stroll, especially if you have a fur baby to take along. The water front is lined with a variety of dining places. If you can't find anything there just beyond is a variety more of places to choose from along with fascinating historical sites and shopping.

Enjoyed another visit at the river front . Although slightly chilly it was still a perfect day. There are many parking garages $5 whole day.. You can park free without parking meter charges on weekends.. Old Town Alexandria never fails to deliver. Old world charm !

Gorgeous waterfront with art installations and sweeping views of the marina, and Potomac. I like the early morning when the boardwalk is all mine. Truly great to catch a sunrise here.

We took the Alexandria "free" Trolley to the city building and walked the last few blocks. Nice surroundings and fun watching the boats and people along the waterfront.

I love it so much i want to move there asap! As a single, there’s SOOOO much to do here and it encourages a healthy lifestyle with all the trails, bikes, scooters, accessibility to DC, MD, metro, water taxi, boat, plane…and car! And I’m sure i forgot something. Excellent food, Street vendors, water, low flying planes, full of life and… i can’t wait to move there one day! I can’t say enough about this place…if it had the ocean it would be perfect, but the river is beautiful and offers a lot of fun as is!!!! That’s the way to utilize the beautiful waterfront!
