We are a full service hospital providing medicine, surgery, therapeutic laser treatment, x-rays, dentistry, hospitalization, house calls, and both an in-house and online pharmacy. 1 We DON'T do unnecessary testing. Not every coughing dog needs blood work and chest x-rays.
We have the capability to diagnose and treat most conditions but if your pet requires more extensive diagnostics or procedures that we may not provide, we will not hesitate to refer you to a specialist for the best possible care for your pet. We know that your pet is a loved family member. We treat every pet as if they were a member of our family too.

Services
Our prices on routine services are probably about the same as other practices in the area. Where we will save you money is on the sick or injured pet that requires medicine, surgery, or hospitalization. We do not do unnecessary testing or proceedures. On your request we will gladly give you a written QUOTE before starting treatment.

Couldn’t be more thankful for the care we received today. We had what I would call an emergency plus a few other issues to address. When I called yesterday I told the doctor I wanted someone to listen and understand what was going on with our pup instead of just laughing at what I had to say and blowing it off as has been previously done at other places! He did just that! He scheduled a longer appointment and listened to me as I cried my way through my explanation. He understood, explained, and came up with a plan right then and there. Dr Smith provides an honest, holistic treatment plan while being fiscally conservative. He gives information for all treatment options and respects the family wishes. We moved to the area when we noticed our Beagle/Basset had a mass on her mouth. He removed the mass, and then we learned it was aggressive cancer. He was able to guide our Hospice like care to give her the best quality of life for her remaining months. We have since taken our other dogs and couldn't be happier. We are a no bs, no fluff type of people and his care is exactly what we expect and desire in a vet.
