If you like being in constant danger and never having anything fixed is this the place for you! With drunk drivers everywhere and drug dealers living in a motor home behind an abandoned Kmart the atmosphere is unlike any other. Even the "landscaper" is a local alcoholic. Michelle "the warden" will make sure to remind you at every corner that, "you chose to live here, if you don't like it you can come get a 30 day notice from me". Without such basic things such as rain gutters I'm sure you'll find the local waterfalls breathtaking. With no insulation

This place is average. Melissa is great, she try’s to put lipstick on a pig and do what she can to make you as comfortable as possible. The complex itself has seen far better days. When we moved here this is all our family could afford and for that it’s fine. If cost is your biggest Concern then this place fits that just fine. The outside of the property is fairly worn down and don’t even get me started with the street and amenities they provide, especially the laundry rooms! Bugs... so many roaches. Most apartments have bed bugs as well. The maintenance crew never actually repairs anything. The cabinets are cheap and if you have a leak which you will, you will end up with major water damage. They will then sloppily put back together the water damaged cabinets or leave some of it in pieces and tell you that they cant fix it. There are major patches in every wall so there are weak spots all over the place. Our stove went on fire 2 times before they replaced it. The dishwasher and garbage disposal never worked correctly. Been here many years and have seen it really bad at maybe 2 stars to now 5 stars melissa is the best manager I have ever had . Issues have been delt with prompt attention. Melissa is very knowledgable at what she does and for some reason she cant answer your question she will find out and get back to asap. Love her and don't want her to ever leave us !

Been a resident here for a few months, and a resident in a couple of other complexes ran by the same property management group. I have had almost universally good experiences across the board thus far.
Management is amazing. Melissa is by far the best apartment manager I've ever had, and I would recommend her to anyone. I've been in this town since 1996, and this complex always had a terrible reputation, but with the way things are now, moving in here was a no-brainer. It's clean, calm, and the only real noises I hear are the children playing in the lawn outside.

I used to live there and know live at there other apts starlight Grove i absolutely love it !! Especially the manager Melissa who is very sweet, helpful , friendly , and efficient !! She's amazing at her job and makes living here more comfortable !! She's the best property manager weve ever had that's for sure!!

Melissa is a wonderful Apartment manager. She always is pleasant and there to help you. I enjoyed living on the property and it was always fairly looked after. Anytime I had a issue Melissa was there to help resolve it and always was understanding of life’s troubles. I rented from two different complexes she managed and both were nice.

I have lived here for 3 years now and Melissa Lainini has always managed the apartments while I have lived here and to me she is always efficient and quick at responding to repairs or any request. Melissa has always been very helpful and kind. Andrew the apt handy man is also quick about getting to my work orders. These arent the most luxurious apartments in town but doable because they are the most affordable.

This place is horrible! I originally moved in here with my girlfriend at the time, we put down $1000 pet deposit for our 5 month old puppy at the time. We were only here for 6 months total!When we moved out they did a walk thru and told us it would be 21 days till we got our refund if everything was good to go. We moved out took pictures, did the walk thru and all was well. Then when it's time to collect the deposit back we can not get ahold of the office to return our deposit. They tried claiming it smelled like pee and the carpets needed to be repaired when they were brand new only a few

The place features out dated apartments, difficulty getting any repairs done in a timely manner. Poor management, lack of maintenance personnel. Staff are rude to guest with no professionalism. No security cameras my car was vandalized while I was there. There are no facilities for children such as a play ground. The apartment have no washer/dryer hookups. There are better places then this dump.

This place is horrible matinence never comes by to fix any of the numerous problems with this crap hole plus we found out that the building we are living in is falling off its foundation so that makes it really safe... so a warning to all you future perspective renters.....run, run away and don't look back avoid this crap hole at all cost

DO NOT LIVE HERE!!! We moved in and a few days later we could smell urine in floor. We had the carpets professionally cleaned and the smell still didn't leave. We complained to Gail, the manager, she had the carpet cleaned twice and the smell still remained. I didn't want my kids playing on the floor. The people that live in this complex are filthy and do not care about where they live. There is constantly trash all over the place and the People leave their TVs and mattresses laying around the dumpsters. Kids are constantly running around and yelling in the complex until late at night

We lived at Canyon Crest for a little over a year. Things were ok for most of the time but we learned not to depend on maintenance or the front office to actually do what they said they would do.
Our main issue came when we went to move out (the walk through is done 2 weeks prior to move out and NOT the day of, as is usual). The office manager, Gail, did a walk through with us and gave us a written range of how much they'd take from our deposit. We were told she "is always fair and doesn't like to take advantage of people. And, of course, if we have any problem, call her."
