It is our goal at Cedar Park Dance Company to instill a love, appreciation and discipline for the art of dance in each student. Dancers should gain poise, grace and confidence through the classes they attend here. We believe in building up positive personalities with encouraging feedback. We strive to give our students the best dance education possible while not losing sight of the reason children want to dance, for the joy and happiness that it brings to them.
Services
All level and classes are subject to teacher discretion of proper level for each individual dancer. LEVEL 2: Dancers who have completed LEVEL 1 and are ready to progress to level 2 per the teacher. Generally dancers who have reached level 2 take a minimum of 3 hours of dance per week. LEVEL 3: Dancers must have completed LEVEL 1 & LEVEL 2 and are ready to progress to level 3 per the teacher.
As in every activity that we participate in, the appropriate dress code is implemented for a reason. For dancing, wearing proper dance wear to class allows for ease of movement, as well as, providing the teacher with the ability to detect and correct any physical problems students may have with their body alignment.
Tuition will be run on the 1st. A $15 fee will be added to accounts that declined and a notice will be sent. You will have until the 10th to get your account up to date. Thereafter, you dancer will not be able to attend class until the account is paid and there spot in the class will be lost. Dancers must check - in at the front desk to receive a class make-up card and present it to the teacher to let them know they are doing a make -up class.
Solo, duets & trios take a lot discipline, time, training and money and should be given the same respect and attention as any other team, class or dance. We want our dancers to be prepared for a successful year, therefore we have outlined our requirements below. The choreographer must be a staff member of CPDC or otherwise approved and arranged by CPDC director.
Standing Ovations is a new performance based company for dancers in Kindergarten - 6th grade. To give dancers the opportunity to explore the performance aspect of dance without the competition element. With this company we strive to introduce dancers to the process of learning choreography, putting together a show and performing in a community.

I have been going to this studio for 6+ years now and I honestly can't think about my life without the dancing there. I LOVE the studio and the people, the staff are AMAZING and in every class you get the best experience. I really do love this studio and as a student would recommend it to any one of any age. Thx for the best 6+ years of my life!

We have been at CPDC for 3 years. Both of my daughters have really enjoyed the class variety. My 6-year-old is currently enrolled in a tap & hip hop combo class! It’s awesome. The teachers are incredible and the skills they have taught my girls are wonderful. My oldest daughter is now on company and the dance family and friendships we have made will last a lifetime. I highly recommend this studio if you would like an intro to dance or are interested in the competition teams. We love Cedar Park Dance Company!

My daughter has been at CPDC for the past 5 yrs and on their competition team for 2 years. She loves ALL the teachers and assistants there, as well as the variety of classes she takes from jazz, ballet, tap, lyrical, hip hop, jazz fusion, all the way to tools and techniques and clogging. She has come long way in her growth due to these teachers, and the instruction that they provide leads to a path for success. Dance is her home away from home and her happy place. The bonds she has created here will last a lifetime.

Our home away from home... I have 2 daughters who have been trained at this studio. One is all grown up and is now dancing in the parades and Disneyland and the other is still at the studio and is a member of the competition team "The Company". The teachers are loving, knowledgeable, experienced, skilled, inspiring, nurturing and know exactly how to get the best out of each student. I have seen my girls fall in love with dance, and I know that CPDC is a huge reason why. We couldn't be happier. This studio is highly recommended for dancers of all ages and skill level.

My girls have been dancing here for almost 5 years. The location is convenient. The price is reasonable based upon your needs and amount of classes you want. Both of my girls have done performance team and danced for the public in years past. My oldest now enjoys picking out the classes she wants while doing drill team for school. My youngest is on a competition team and feels like Cedar Park Dance Company is part of her family who supports and loves her. Even though the girls at CPDC may go to different schools they hang out together not just at the studio. They are taught to do their very

If you have a kid who follows instructions in great way this is your place. If you goal is that your 2 years old girl learn how she can socialize maybe you should find another place. I don't want to be specific but I don't like when my daughter is rejected. I think that someone choose to work with kids, she/he should be impartial and make an effort to keep the patience with kids who need it.

Cedar Park Dance Company started out with fairly humble roots; in a tiny one-room studio right next to the train tracks on Brushy Creek. This doesn't mean much to most people, but I think it is what made the school so welcoming and family-like in the past.
In recent years, I have heard nothing but bad things, with parents and students alike feeling that the school has become more about the "business", more elitist, and more snobbish. I haven't been back since 2014 so I cannot comment on the accuracy of these statements, but something to keep in mind.

My first experience with Cedar Park Dance was over the phone to ask about a trial class. The girl on the phone was rude and fairly dismissive but I decided to give it a try anyway. The class was overwhelmingly difficult for my daughter and the instructor offered no follow up on whether she thought another class would be more appropriate. About a week later I received a phone call asking if I wanted to register my daughter after taking the trial class. I stated that we were new to the area and were going to try other studios before making a decision. Two weeks after that I received another phone

My girls have been in dance here for 2 years now. The two teachers we've had were both great with kids, and my girls look forward to going each week. The hallways during the afternoon and evenings gets super crowded, but that is my only complaint. I'm not sure what they could do to change that, but I sometimes worry about losing a kid trying to fight through the masses!

This is a great studio if you are going to be taking hip hop. The teacher there and her two young teaching assistants are amazing, kind, fun, funny and just awesome. My six year old adores them and has learned a shocking amount for only four classes. The office staff is rather rude and its hard to get someone to talk to you who knows what they are talking about. But its all worth it to have the amazing energy and fantastic personalities of the hip hop class. I am going to be taking my younger daughter who wants to do something more graceful and quiet to another studio but my daughter is in hip

I was introduced to Adele Traveras through a mutual friend. I'm on the North Austin Special Needs group committee, so Adele and I arranged for a preview of her "Movement Therapy" class for our group. It was a huge success. She is a beautiful dancer with a beautiful heart. She is patient and understanding and is truly interested in helping our kids enjoy dance. The tuition is very reasonable and we are all excited to start dancing!
