The word Danz in Danzversity translates to dance, body language, movement, language, expression, creativity, freedom, music, art and more. At Danzversity, we foster a welcoming environment for all humans to interact and express movement without feeling judged or out of place.

My partner and I are always looking for something fun to do together out of the house, and we've been skirting around trying a dance class for some time. He's definitely got the rhythm. I definitely do not. So I have been understandably hesitant; I didn't want to feel mocked, judged, or like I was getting in the way wherever we went.

I'm from out-of-town and was looking for a safe, comfortable place for a beginner to learn how to dance. I had heard about Danzversity from family members and decided to give it a try. I took two classes, which were Get Down Break Down and Latin Get Down. Both classes were taught by Jaymie.
As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by Jaymie and Anthony. They were both very friendly and personable. I also liked the space, which was comfortable and welcoming. Jaymie is a dance instructor who you can tell really loves what she does. My biggest anxiety was that I would feel judged or called-out in class

Wow, where do I start? My 6 year old son had a very specific vision for his Glow Dance Party and Jaymie and Tony delivered! For 2 hours the kids were under Jaymie's "spell". I've never seen someone so comfortable with directing and instructing children. She played specific songs from a playlist that my son chose and the games played made all the kids so happy. Then there was the dancing! From the adorable decorations, amazing music, and the picnic style snack session, everything was just perfect! I'm not sure who had more fun, the parents or the kids! I would recommend Danzversity for anyone looking

Danzversity is warm and welcoming to all who enter! My partner and I have been wanting to learn to dance and finally, despite all of our nerves and worries about dancing in a public setting, were put to rest when we started Hassan's Sneaker Bop class! We absolutely enjoy it and can't believe it has taken us this long to sign up! After every class we want to immediately sign up for the next one! We look forward to every Monday now - well, aside from going back to work, that is, haha.

We were absolutely thrilled with the awesome birthday party we threw at Danciversity! We chose a glow in the dark hip hop party from their 4 themes offered, and all the kids had an absolute blast. They even had black lights and disco lights! Jaymie was a wonderful, fun & engaging instructor and seeing the kids show off their dance moves were absolutely priceless! Their hospitality & professionalism were incredible, and I would highly recommend you consider this space for your next private event!

My 7 year old absolutely loves this place. It is really helping him with his confidence and moves. The instructor is amazing with the kids and encourages a friendly and respectful experience. She also encourages personality and creativity in the children's dance. She works with a diverse selection of music and different styles of dance. Overall I am extremely happy and so is my 7 year old son.

I realized today it was far past time for me to do a review of a place I've been going once a week for almost a year. As an adult, I'd been wanting to get back into dancing and a friend had been raving about this place where she was learning hip hop. As an out of practice and a little bit out of shape person I was a bit nervous. (I went to another studio's beginning hip hop class and learned I was WAY out of my depth.) Can't say enough good things about our experience with Danzversity. We just hosted our daughter's 4th birthday there and WOW, above and beyond any expectations I had. My daughter, and friends, all agreed it was the best party EVER! Looking for something other than bouncy house in Austin, something unique and super fun, host your child's party there. Beautifully decorated, tailored music selection to match theme, plenty of space for food and dance. Loved it!
