I have been searching for an all around stylist for 11 years and was just about to grow dreads when I met Mimi. I have been going to MiMi for the last year. Her and her staff are great! She has nothing but the best products for my hair. She attends most of the upscale hairshows so she is up to date on all the new cuts, colors, products and styles.

They don’t have a pleasant customer service at all. The lady I was suppose to meet was rude and not pleasant at all during a phone conversation. So, that alone is enough to discourage me from patronizing them in the nearest future. I understand everyone can have a bad day but please try to BE PROFESSIONAL AND CONCISE TO THE VERY END.

Mimi was recommended to me because I was looking for a specific hairstyle that no one near me could do. She told me what to bring in and how much it would be. She finished my hair faster than I expected and it looks wonderful. If you need your hair done in the DFW make sure to give her a call. You won’t be disappointed!

I just googled "excellent hair salon in my area" and this was the first on that list, I called to set up an appointment and I have no regrets! I came in to get my hair washed and I had a great experience! I'll be definitely coming back to get my hair braided. If you're looking for a place to call home, this is it 100%!

I found Mimi around my birthday this year (January). She is so personable. I felt like I had known her forever. The quality of work that she and her staff give is insurmountable. If you a looking for a reasonable priced place with a relaxing atmosphere, check out Femme Noire. She specializes in Natural Hair but they also do beautiful braids, locs, and relaxers. This is a shop for all hair types. (Located right beside the new Party City). You won't be sorry.

I have been coming to Mimi for a few years and I have not had a bad experience! Mimi and her staff are very personable and care about their clients! The staff goes above and beyond what they say they do. I Have never had a complaint. My edges has never fallen out and I'm in and out in a timely manner! I travel from Oklahoma just to get my hair done and they have done right by me every time! If you are looking for an awesome experience I suggest you come check them out! You will not be disappointed.

Mimi is AMAZING!!!! I am so lucky to have found someone that helped me when my regular hair dresser left me on my wedding day. So thankful that I could find someone that understands how to grow my natural hair and help me get it back to a healthy place again. We've been working together for almost two years now, and she's done my sew-ins each time. In between sew-ins, she helped me wash, deep condition my hair, and trim it so it could come back to fill life. Mimi is so great to work with. Very happy with her services! :)

I called this place and made a 11:00 appointment. I was told that 11:00 would be fine. I arrived the next day at 11:00. The shop owner had one customer. There wasn't anyone else in the dark salon. I was told to have a seat. I sat for some time as the shop owner appeared to be working on a "weave" that would obviously take hours! Did she really think I wanted to sit in that cold, dark room watching her put fake hair in someone's head? She just ignored me. She never set a time expectation for the completion of the other customer. She literally never said another word to

I've had my braids done here a couple times and they turned out great.The staff is nice and I usually leave my stylist a tip.Its also nice to find a black salon that doesn't look like a dump.My only issue is that they are loud!They constantly talk among them selves or are on the phone which doesn't bother me unless your right behind my head!
