We've stayed at The Riverside a number of times and always had a great time. The hotel staff is always friendly, the room are clean and comfortably and the casino doesn't smell like someone is blowing cigarette smoke in your face.
On our most recent trip we hit the bingo room and had a great time. The bingo crew at Riverside really make the game more fun. Friendly, funny and helpful during every session. The room itself is a bit old school, but very well kept and clean. The bar in the bingo room also offers some food options which isn't typical of bingo halls.

I decided to stay here on the spur of the moment trip. The registration guy was ok when checking in. Reason being only ok is because when I asked what room was the best when he said I had 3 to choose from he didn't seem like he cared or knew which one was ok. Then the one I picked was blocked by walls from the pool deck with no patio or window available to open in a smoking room. Also had opened shampoo containers in the shower so it made me wonder if they even cleaned it lol. Then I decided to get some food in their so called "cafe" which ends up being a walk up order and go type

I love the Riverside, but was very disappointed to wait 45 minutes for eggs in the Riverview restaurant. I felt sorry for the waitress I had. She was getting yelled at from the cooks. I complained to the restaurant manager and she stated that they only had 2 cooks in the kitchen and surly acted like she didn’t care about the customer. It was not very busy in the restaurant.

I've been coming to this resort for over 24 years but today's review is all about Debbie T. whom I was blessed with for taking my reservations today. I've been going through a lot of trauma in my life recently and I could've not been connected to a better person today at the Riverside Hotel reservation line. I cannot say enough about this person about how compassionate she is and how a personable representative she is for the Riverside Hotel and resort. Don Laughlin would be over the moon about knowing what an amazing employee he has working for him.

I've been in this casino multiple times when I've been in Laughlin. Hitting up the bowling alley (cash only), free line dancing (many, many years ago), Loser's Lounge (LOVE this little club. Open Thur-Sat), $1.00 black jack (minium this past weekend was $10.00 & they had a $15.00 one too) & to play on the machines.
Well this week was my first time staying here. I've been getting offers for free nights here so I finally took them up on it. Come to find out due to my players card status the "free" nights don't include resort fees. It was about $138.00

We were told that our pet was welcome in their Hotel, once we get their then it's oh no we don't allow cats. I asked if pets were allowed and your people said yes of course, we show up oh it's a cat we don't allow cats their dirty, you know who's dirty YOU ARE, DIRTY LIARS! We had a few challenges but all in all it was a fun stay. Amber helped redeem when we had several problems. The price for the stay was good and we had fun at the movie theater, the prime rib Restaurant and the corn hole at the pool. The worst thing besides the cigarette holes in the blanket we asked for, plus a few other bloopers, was we were there for a week and had a full cart with the Bell when we arrived. I visited the Riverside Hotel yesterday. My husband and I and a friend went to the movies. The chairs are wonderful and the employees are so nice.
After the movie we decided to play some poker slots. My player's card would not work. So I went to the desk at the player's club. There was only one person in that line in front of me. The woman at the desk happened to have a supervisor tag on her shirt. She proceeded to tell me to move into the next line with no explanation. I tried to politely ask her a question. This is a great place to stay. We stayed here for the Labor Day weekend and we really enjoyed it. There is a karaoke Bar, nightclub called Losers Lounge that played 90's music and was so fun,bowling alley and a few smaller bars. We went to see a concert Saturday night and the venue is a 15 minute walk or you can take the hotel shuttle at no cost. The pool and pool bar are great! Lounge chairs in the water, endless amount of towels for use, clean restrooms, a great D.J. and the pool bar had a good variety of alcohol. First time staying here. Very nice. Our room is spacious, comfortable and clean. Nice view of the river from our room. Love that I dont even have to leave the property if I dont want to. Went to the movies and played bingo today. Had a great breakfast in the Riverview restaurant. Will definitely come back again.

We stayed in totally decent room #1429 on 6/17/2021 - we were thrilled that it had a small balcony (river view) with a working sliding door, although we didn't go out much because it was 120° that night. The bed was comfortable and the decor pleasing. We appreciated the spotlights on the headboard.
One thing I'm not happy with though, is the fact that the $100 room deposit has not yet credited to my card, which customer service says takes 7-10 business days. NOT acceptable.

I loved my room and this hotel, it was very comfy and spacious. It also has a couch that isn't pictured. Coffee that was left to brew was actually good tasting. They left masks, hand sanitizer for us. Room service was spot on. I also forgot my room keys inside and getting them was super easy. Didn't have to wait. Customer service was great and efficient. Check in & check out were a breeze.
Hotel has cosmic bowling, arcade, 2 pools, awesome views. It also has a theatre, spa, laser tag. Hotel also has a non-smoking casino area which I thought was very nice.

We stayed at the Riverside for just one night to watch the Kentucky Derby, and I'm glad we did to avoid the larger crowds that were at the newer casinos. The sports book, located on the 2nd floor, was super busy with people placing bets and watching the races. There were many viewing stations available to reserve, along with some open seating. It had a good amount of high quality TVs. The bar adjacent to the sports book offered reasonably priced drinks. The mask mandate is strictly enforced at all bars when not actively drinking, but social distancing is not. The bar separates the sports book

The Hotel room is nice. The workers are okay. They have stickers to promote social distancing but not much enforcement. The room was clean though. I think they can improve on maintenance on the overall building it looks a bit on older side but overall a nice place to crash. They have a fat burger in case you get hungers!
