At P.A.W. Vet Clinic in Mount Airy, MD, we believe that regular checkups and wellness exams are critical to your pet's well-being. Regular checkups allow us to establish a baseline in your pet's health and make us aware of any changes that may indicate future problems. We highly recommend bringing your pet in for regular exams.
Pet insurance pays, partly or in total, for veterinary treatment of the insured person's ill or injured pet. Some policies will pay out when the pet dies, or if it is lost or stolen. As veterinary medicine is increasingly employing expensive medical techniques and drugs, and owners have higher expectations for their pet's health care and standard of living than previously, the market for pet insurance has increased.

I love this vet and her staff! They’re all so friendly and caring and I’m so happy I switched to this vet. I was worried because I found a lump on my dog and they immediately got her in and it showed me how caring they really are. So happy my pup goes here!

I have two dogs, Che and Nugget. We moved to Frederick in the summer of 2017 in need of a new vet.
Every time I show up at P.A.W. I am surprised at the informed, loving treatment - for my dogs and for me. I know it isn’t just syrup because the bottom line is never about get all the tests just in case. It’s rational, reasonable, affordable, and compassionate. My dogs get excited when we arrive AT THE VET.
The office is small, cozy, and inviting. We all feel welcome and at home there.
I’m so glad we found them. Even tho we live 1/2 an hour away I wouldn’t even consider switching to a different
