A Child's Touch
Nature-Rich Play Spaces, Epic Playgrounds, and Dynamic Early Education in a Faith-based Setting. A Child's Touch Christian Preschool began in 1977 and is located on three lush acres with a variety of outdoor learning areas. The back area is over an acre and contains more than 15 playgrounds plus children's museum type outbuildings for drama and role-play.

There are nature outdoor classrooms for all age groups including infants and toddlers! There are more than enough playgrounds to challenge every age and lots of open space to run and move. We invite your child into a natural world of learning and wonder with room to grow and ever-changing play areas for all their years at ACT.
Services
Our 3 controlled airlock entrances with fingerprint verification door access provide controlled entry to our campus. ACT Academics is a creative, strong, fun academic program that allows for exploration, play, and creativity to get them to meet or exceed milestones and state standards. Our extensive playground spaces are unmatched in the world of early childhood.
Our 2 separate Infant Playgrounds, the Infant/Toddler Nature Classroom and Young Explorer's playground are designed specifically for babies. Each offer shade for your little one to stay cool and safe from the sun. Sensory outdoor play and stroller walks on our expansive grounds are a natural part of your child's day-to-day life.
Our toddlers enjoy 5 unique playgrounds to rotate through to maximize their outdoor play experiences! The "Tot Spot" is an open, soft grassy area for our younger toddlers, perfect for those still mastering how to walk and run. Our Toddler Adventure Playgrounds are a combination of 3 separate playgrounds shaded by a huge elm tree.
We know children learn through exploration and we want to make their outdoor playtime meaningful. These ages have up to 7 playgrounds to explore during their time at ACT and each playground inspires them to play and interact in different ways. Our variety of playgrounds are wonderful, unique large spaces for children to get curious and learn by asking questions and investigating for answers.
Adventure Camp in our own Vast Backyard, unique themes, fun field trips, and Exciting Activities. School Age Group 1: Our youngest campers have a large classroom with lots of space to move around and different themed play spaces in which to use their imaginations and keep busy.

School Age Group 2: Kids that are a little bit older have a two-story environment with a pool table, multiple areas for work and play, and comfortable spaces for relaxation.School Age Group 3: Our oldest students get their own separate clubhouse, dubbed "The Hangout" with their own kitchen and plenty of couches for lounging after a hard day of play outside.

A Childs Touch is like no other school. The facilities are world class, the teachers are full of life and love and our girls have excelled in their care. Best school by far!

Be very cautious of this school

Our daughter was at this school for almost a month. One day I walked in and watched one of the teachers grab the back of her head and push it towards the ground while telling her to pick up her goldfish. My daughter was crying and had boogers all over her face and into her mouth. At the very least should they not be wiping our children's noses?? Assumed because of their "we have cameras everywhere" pitch that we'd be able to see and they'd get this person away from everyone's children. When I talked to the dean the first thing he told

The teachers that cared for my son are amazing, I was very lucky in that regard, but some of the teachers in the Toddler room are simply rude and not good to the children. I witnessed too many things and talked to the director multiple times about these issues. My son was bitten 6 times, 3 by the same child in a month period, and they were going to move my son to a different classroom instead of the biter! It's simply very poorly run. When kids go sick with things like flu or HFM, they don't even tell other parents so that we can keep our kids home! My son was sick constantly for a full year but

ACT is the best choice in Colorado.
My daughter has spent 3 school years and two summers here. Their learning standards out shine Colorado state standards and have exceeded my expectations. They focus of real hands on learning experience with their many themed playroom/grounds. My strong willed child has always been treated with compassion and love. For them I am thankful.

We absolutely love this school- our daughter enrolled at 12 weeks old and it has been a wonderful experience. Her teachers are so sweet and loving that I never worry about her care while I am at work. The staff is all very sincere and considerate and the children all seem very happy as they come and go every day. We look forward to a long partnership with this school as our little lady grows.

We enrolled our son at ACT in January 2014, shortly after we moved to Colorado, and he graduated from their kindergarten program in May 2016. I cannot say enough good things about this school. First and foremost, the staff is absolutely amazing--everyone from the office staff to the teachers to the cooks obviously care deeply for each and every individual child. The grounds at the school are incredible, and the learning approach of the school is very "hands-on," so there was never a dull minute in the day. My son always had such exciting things to tell me about his day whenever I picked

My son has attended since he was not quite 3 yrs old. He is now 4 1/2 and enrolled for pre-K starting in a few weeks. We had looked at places priced lower and the quality for the little bit in savings was not worth it. The staff is my son's extended family. He is never bored, always learning, and showing clear academic progression, some at an age level beyond his own. The staff cares about the families there and were amazing when I lost my job unexpectedly. The time my son spends out doors learning while he plays is so important to him and to us that he is engaged and not cooped up inside while

My son has really enjoyed his time here and I feel like we have made a great choice by having him attend this school. They really have been great to work with and their program has put my son at a learning level I never thought possible. The crazy thing is that he hasn't even been there two months. Friendly staff and if you need any convincing, just take a tour.

We absolutely love this school. Our kids have attended A Child's Touch for the past 2 years. We opted to enroll our son in full time kindergarten in lieu of public school plus BASE. It is worth every penny! He absolutely loves school and he is reading 90 page children's books at age 5. The teachers give our daughter so much love EVERY day. She attended from age 2 to 4. Her vocabulary is huge and her fine motor skills improve every week. Everyone at the school is so kind and caring. I can't say enough good things. We drive past Goddard, Primrose, and KinderCare to take our

A Child's Touch has been the best thing to happen to our family. I wish we would have found this incredible place years ago! Our son began attending in April 2013 and just had his last day before kindergarten.
The rates for all age groups are truly unbeatable for the Denver metro area. Our son has never had a bad day at school and has never wanted to stay home since his start with A Child's Touch.
The teachers are incredibly warm, intelligent, and responsive to the children's needs and learning styles. The office staff are always very helpful and quick to answer any questions.

We love everything about ACT! they are kind, helpful, and really understanding of how challenging it can be for a family to place their child in daycare. They really supported us through this process and our little one (1 1/2) loves being here! I would highly recommend ACT to anyone looking for an environment that helps kids learn through play and caring support.

I have had my experience with some pretty bad daycares so I am always a little leery. The staff at ACT where always friendly and extremely professional and helpful. My son attended their preschool program and summer programs. He not only had a wonderful time but I saw a real change in him academically. The first semester he struggled a little with writing and staying focused but the staff immediately recognized that and switched him to another group so he was not so distracted. The second semester he made a huge improvement and would come home spelling colors and writing the alphabet. My son is

Our kids have been attending A Child's Touch for 3 years. The classrooms get better and better, and the teachers truely care about teaching. It may be a little more expensive than other day care facilities, but it is well worth the cost. Our oldest started 1st grade this year, and entered the public school system on a higher level than the other kids. I would recommend A Child's Touch to any parent looking for a care facility that does more than just baby sit you kids while you are at work.
