The team at La Paz Optometric Center has been serving families in and around the Saddleback Valley since 1973. Our family practice has grown quite a bit since then, and though much has changed over the years, our dedication to providing world-class patient care will never call it a day. Our eyes are as unique as our fingerprints, and your eyes and visual health needs may change over time. To help ensure that your eyes get the care and attention they deserve, La Paz Optometric Center offers tailored eye exams to suit your unique needs. Adults and seniors should undergo a comprehensive eye exam at least once per year.
Regular eye exams play an integral role in your eye health and vision. All of our eye exams include testing for glaucoma, cataracts, and other eye issues and diseases. Untreated eye diseases can lead to permanent vision loss, so preventative care and early detection are key. The blood vessels in your eyes can also tell us a lot about your overall health, and help us catch early signs of high blood pressure, diabetes, and other systemic diseases.
Your child's vision plays a vital role in their development. Children rely on their vision to learn and play, so undiagnosed vision problems may keep them from reaching their full potential. Annual eye exams are a critical tool that allows your optometrist to make sure your child's vision is clear, and their eyes are healthy.
Individuals with diabetes have unique ocular health and visual needs and are significantly more likely to develop serious, vision-threatening conditions and diseases such as glaucoma. As such, individuals with diabetes should undergo a comprehensive diabetic eye exam at least once per year, though your optometrist may recommend more frequent visits.

Excellent customer service. Dr Shawn is great. In particular I am very impressed with JOFFNI the optician. He is one the best. Officer Manager Amelia was superb. One of the staff member Nina was very helpful.
The whole team is awesome and they are very interested in client satisfaction, especially JOFFNI.

I absolutely love La Paz Optometric. Dr. Sako is awesome and very caring. Amelia is the best. She fits the glasses to me like they were custom made and knows exactly what styles would look best on me. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who wants a great optometrist with an amazing selection of glasses.

I have been going to La Paz Opometric for years and I continuously get outstanding customer service and the best glasses selection! They have great prices and discounts and they always go above and beyond to make sure my prescription is just right! We recently moved about an hour away and I haven’t found an optometrist office that does as amazing job as they do with my prescription and glasses choices, so I continue to drive an hour to their office when I need my eyes checked, renewed prescription, and new glasses! They are that good!!!

I went for my annual exam and was reminded why I like La Paz Optometric Center so much. They were very thorough and comprehensive with their testing. I must have gone through five or six different exams (I lost track) plus the usual "which is better, one or two" testing. I'm confident my eyes are in good shape.

My entire family goes to La Paz Optometric. Everyone in the office is pleasant and helpful. The optometrists are all very knowledge and have great bedside manner. They are thorough in informing me about my eyes every year. Erin is amazing and extremely patient.
