Services
Rainbow City Performing Arts envisions a world that promotes healthy attitudes about being lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and allied. We are an organization of performance ensembles creating a diverse and inclusive environment for musical expression that promotes the equity and visibility of people in the LGBTQIA+ community.
Our ensembles provide a range of entertainment, from brief spirit-raising appearances to an entire evening of professional entertainment. Our director of events will work you to find the best ensemble for your event and budget, confirm availability, and work out the details. Our musicians love to bring entertainment to the community; let us be part of your special occasion!
We are a group of instrumentalists - and a couple of vocalists - who love swing music. We come from many different walks of life and musical backgrounds; while some of our members played in a jazz band in high school or college, others are new to the genre. We have amateur and professional musicians who are devoted to honing performance skills such as solo and improvisation that aren't used as much in other types of ensembles.
We are a group of LGBT and allied musicians who have a great time making music and putting smiles on thousands of faces every summer. We come from many backgrounds, musically and otherwise, and range from recent graduates to retirees.
Some of our members are new to their instrument, some are music professionals, and many of us picked up our instrument after years of neglect for the opportunity to re-live the great time we had marching in high school or college. And we like to have fun. Although we work intensively during our rehearsals and annual retreat to prepare a great performance for our audience, we wouldn't be there if we weren't having a great time.

Reign City Riot is a brass band and drumline that supplies high-energy entertainment before, during, and after home matches of Reign FC, our powerhouse professional NWSL soccer team. A joint venture of Reign FC and Rainbow City Performing Arts, the Riot includes many members of other RCPA ensembles and music groups from around the community who share a common love of music, Reign FC, and bringing spirit to both the athletes and the fans.
