Welcome to Peartree Preschool, a small home based preschool located within 5 miles of both downtown Grass Valley and downtown Nevada City. We are a California licensed program with a maximum capacity of six children to ensure a familial environment. We believe in a play based philosophy to early learning where we will provide a safe environment that encourages exploration, curiosity and creativity.
Our goal is to help develop our students into polite, compassionate and resilient children with a love of learning. Our early-childhood program offers children ages 3-5 years old with developmentally appropriate activities and focuses on the "whole child." Through creative exploration and play, we aim to support each child's cognitive, physical, emotional, and social growth.

Celine is the epitome of a perfect educator for our young students; she is incredibly creative, fun, patient and kind, with just the right amount of authoritativeness. The school is beautifully curated, the food organic and healthy, and the activities wonderful and educational. What a gem of a place! We highly recommend!
