Services
Programs that participate in the Keystone STARS program are making a commitment to provide a quality education for your child. The Upper Perkiomen Child Care Center is a proud participant of the Pennsylvania Keystone STARS program. Keystone STARS is a state-funded program that promotes quality child care service.
Attending a high quality program prepares kids for kindergarten and beyond. UPCCC strives to be that high quality program that you are looking for! In addition to strengthening socialization skills -- how to compromise, be respectful of others and problem-solve -- we provide a place where your child can gain a sense of self, explore, play with peers and build confidence through a creative curriculum.
Ms. Kirsten Jewell-Gluck has worked at UPCCC since 1989 as a lead teacher in many of the classrooms. She has been our Keystone STARS coordinator since 2006. She works closely with the teachers and staff to make sure quality care is upheld to STARS standards. She received an Associates Degree from Montgomery County Community College.
We are thrilled with the teachers and staff at UPCCC! My husband and I work knowing that our children and I can go to work each day knowing that our children and in the best of hands. We truly feels like we are apart of "one big family", the staff LOVE our children and it shows! UPCCC is FANTASTIC!.
The Nursery staff welcomes you and your family! We look forward to caring for your new baby! Our days are filled with hugs, stories, play, exploration, feedings, and, of course, diapers! We love to go outside 2 times a day (weather permitting) and our older children will have the opportunity to play in our Tot-Lot.

The management is a joke. I would give 5 stars with no doubt when my older kids were there years ago.
Now all the great teachers left. When I contacted the office and tried to sign up for my younger one, they didn't reply my calls or voicemails. After several tries, I had to stop by and ask in person. The temporary director, Amber, gave me the "I am tired" look and basically told me that she was too busy to take care of my request. When I showed up for the scheduled tour, she didn't say a word or even a hi to me. She appointed a girl, and said "give her a little tour". Wow, how welcoming was that
