Calrose started as a small business when Don Layson decided to strike out on his own after leading one of the largest agencies in the Puget Sound for over a decade. He wanted something different. Calrose began as a niche auto insurance company but Don knew that's not where the business would stay, it expanded.

My Calrose agent (broker) , whom I’ve had a personal relationship for over 20 years , procured me insurance for a boat that I purchased. The insurance company underwriter that I’d been with for 40 years, a superior company that I can’t be lured from, was going to charge me a higher premium than my agent says was necessary. My agent being a broker got insurance through a competing company for a third of the price. He explained this company too had an excellent reputation. Bottom line Calrose took care of me first .

Great Customer Service! Calrose Insurance shops for my deals on truck and motorcycle Insurance before I even ask. I made a claim for an acccident a few years ago and they had an Insurance adjuster out doing an estimate at my workplace within a couple hours. I like good customer service.
