At IOI, your health, safety and comfort are our priorities. After you and your doctor decide that surgery is the best treatment for your condition or injury, you may have a number of questions and concerns. As with any surgery, there will be a period of recovery that may vary in length. Dr. Rebecca Kuo and the staff at IOI will be with you every step of the way, helping you in all of your pre-surgery and post-surgery concerns.
Tendonitis can be a very stressful foot and ankle condition to manage on a daily basis. It can affect numerous joints around the body but is very common in the feet and ankles. Seek treatment from an orthopedic doctor and surgeon to ensure that a case of tendonitis does not get so advanced that it reduces your ability to move around, exercise, and participate in your normal activities.
Lower back pain can dramatically affect your life, making even the simplest of movements extremely painful. If you suffer from lower back pain that never goes away, your orthopedic specialist can help. The doctors at Illinois Orthopedic Institute Dr. Joe George, Dr. Rebecca Kuo, and Dr. Ryan Pizinger offer several successful treatments for lower back pain.

I was very pleased with the courtesy of the office staff at IOI. Dr. Pizinger is very professional and he did an excellent job setting my fingers. I am hoping I won’t need his services again, but I won’t hesitate to call their office for help if the need arises. Thank you, Steve Borneman

Love this place! A very clean environment. With all going on with the pandemic, it felt safe. There was no long wait. The staff is friendly, caring and very patient. And very professional. I have been having problems with my knee for years. I have been hesitant on seeing an orthopedic but it was time! Thank you Dr. Pizinger and Nurse Jackie for your care and patience!

I have seen both Dr. Joe George and Jackie Pizinger the nurse practitioner and have nothing but great experiences with both. The staff is easy to work with.
Dr. George is so nice and explained everything when my ankle has been bothering me.
I have referred my whole family here for all their orthopedic needs. I can not say enough good things about the care they received while going to IOI.

Dr. Pizinger and his whole staff are amazing! I have had Total Shoulder Replacements on both of my shoulders and cannot be happier with my outcomes. I was in a lot of pain with my first one, and I was scheduled for surgery quickly and couldn't haven been more grateful for that. The Nurse Practitioner, Jackie is so knowledgeable and treats you like family. They made my experience with them very pleasant and stress free. I highly recommend their expertise and compassion.
I also had surgery with Dr. George many years back on my foot. I cannot say enough good things about him. He is such a gentle

Dr. Pizinger is friendly and knowledgeable, but who ever answers to phones and does the scheduling was the most rude woman I have ever spoke to! It was so bad, we decided to go to a different ortho facility because of it!

Called to make an appointment after blowing my knee out on Saturday Per: Silver Cross E.R . Fast forward to Monday 8:30am after sitting on hold for 20 minutes and still in immense pain. Receptionist was very short with me. She repeatedly spoke over me as if the information I was conveying to her didn't matter. I warned her not to speak over me for I am the customer and there are plenty of other doctors out there that would glad to accept my BlueCross/BlueShield. This apparently did not deter her rude behavior and continued to speak over me. I DO NOT put up with nonsense. I hung up on her. I called

Nurse practitioner refuses to understand that a person has other health issues and family members to take care of just couldn’t make appointments and physical therapy. Had knee surgery in December felt fine until recently. Said I was noncompliance. Why go if not in pain.
