An internal medicine physician can act and process to identify and determine the nature and cause of a disease or injury through evaluation of patient history, examination, and review of laboratory data (including on-site X-ray). Our practicitioner can treat both acute and chronic conditions. We then emphasize prevention of disease, maintenance of optimal health, and promotion of the individual's inherent self-healing process.
Dr. Ziegler is a board-certified holistic chiropractic integrative physician, licensed by the Virginia Board of Medicine and has been serving in private practice for over 20 years. He has been named "Top Physician" by his peers for over 15 consecutive years. Dr. Ziegler attended the University of Connecticut on a full athletic scholarship and then received a doctorate degree from Life University in Atlanta, Georgia.

Dr. Ziegler is the best!
I was in an excruciating pain for 4 weeks, unable to sleep from a pinched nerve on my neck C6-C7. Dr. Ziegler did wonders, and I was able to sleep after my first session. Pain level has gone down significantly, and after 5 sessions I am almost fully recovered. He is a delightful person, professional and knowledgeable. I highly recommend AHC. Acupuncture is great as well, I did one session and the experience was excellent. Staff is very polite.

I have been a patient of Dr. Ziegler's for 2 months now. I found him through reviews on the internet and so happy I did! My story began 7 months ago with neck pain. This progressed until I could no longer turn my head without severe pain and I was waking at night with numbness and tingling in my arm and hand. My first visit I was sent out for xrays of my neck which led to a diagnosis of degeneration in my cervical (neck) area. Been getting acupuncture with Seol Yoon for the past 6 month now. I was dealing with lower back pain, boating and having little energy. She did an amazing job getting everything fixed up and I feel way better now. I had one appointment each week and felt that did the trick. Had a wonderful experience with Dr. Ziegler and my back issues, which were affecting my hands. I need my hands for my digital art. I was able to get the appropriate treatment I needed. I was already seeing Dr. Chang and Dr. Shafai at the Advanced Health Center, so I was pleased to find that Dr. Ziegler was able to help me with my back problem. Great, knowledgeable, helpful, and professional front desk staff! Such a fun team. I'm surprised by some of the negative comments here. I've been coming to this practice for over a year and I've found them to be friendly and helpful.
Dr. Zeigler and Dr. Stilson provide excellent, top notch, and very high quality health care service. I saw Dr. Stilson last year for a sports related injury in the middle of training for a competition. His treatment helped my body heal so that I can continue to train effectively. I was so happy with my total numbers in my competition!

Having ongoing lower back issues, I was referred to Dr. Ziegler by a colleague 6 years ago. My lower back was giving me pure hell with muscle spasms. After a few weeks of treatment and stretching routines at home, I had zero, nada, no issues with my lower back until this year. Now middle aged, I have arthritis in my upper and lower back. I'm so glad I went to see Dr. Z. I had an acute back issue last week and he made it better in no time. Their office is doing a good job seeing clients while working hard to make sure everyone stays safe. I have been going to see Dr Ryan Stilson for five months, he is very professional, patient, nice and helpful. I have back pain issue, I need to go to AHC at least once a week, the 45 min - 1 hour treatment is my most relaxing time during the week.
The rest of the staffs are very nice too. Everything is very smooth: make an appointment, reschedule/ cancel an appointment. Overall, I have good experience here and will continue to receive the treatments.

I have been a client of Advanced Health Care for 10 years or so and love the quality of service I have received. I want to call out Seol Yoon who is an exceptional acupuncturist. She is kind, thoughtful and a master of the art. I wish I could give two reviews because the drs there are wonderful- I had great experiences with Dr. Chang and Dr. Yoon. BUT the administrative staff is so glaringly rude, unprofessional, and unethical that I can not recommend AHC.

I have nothing but great things to say. As an EMT, I see and work with a lot providers (have had mostly good experiences), but wanted to acknowledge this practice for all being so great. Everyone says hello to you and go out of their way to help you get labs and results.

I don't know what is going on here. I was pretty uncomfortable alone in the room with the doctor and will never go back. He wasn't listening to me and positioned his chair blocking the door, I just felt incredibly uncomfortable. Before I even arrived to the appointment, the front desk staff said they would call me back with pricing information and never did. To make things even more uncomfortable, the place is just foul and disgusting with old creepy exposed wires, dusty rusty equipment, decades-old personal files, stains on the floor. It was a like a horror movie set in an 80s dilapidated

Acupuncturist Dr. Michelle Lee is phenomenal, and Nurse Practitioner Melanie Jones is pretty good, but Dr. Shafai is not holistic, though she will listen to you and accept literature.
When it came down to it Dr. Shafai did not know about immune diseases and wanted to diagnose me with Fibromyalgia, which I absolutely do not have and frankly was an excuse to prescribe a Fibromyalgia prescription when she saw first hand and which I told her I cannot take.
I presented with a different immune syndrome altogether, and she told me through her medical assistant that she did not believe me after taking

Melanie Jones, FNP has been treating me and members of my family since she became a NP. She is extremely knowledgeable and has a very friendly bedside manner. I feel very blessed to have her at the helm of my extensive team of medical professionals and specialists which Melanie helped me build.
