We believe in the "PERSON CENTERED APPROACH" at Utopia Health Center, it is the foundation we are built on; ensuring our therapeutic services are unique to each client.

The wide range of integrative services Utopia Health Center offers to support individuals as they pursue and achieve their desired outcomes, were thoughtfully cultivated to meet everyone where they are in their process; whether it is developing coping skills to manage symptoms of adjustment disorder while in school or learning how to identify triggers for marijuana dependence.
Services
Utopia Health Center was created to help build a society where people not only identified their dreams, they achieved them. Motivated to transform and redefine the idea of wellness for all through the use of innovative modalities, Utopia Health Center strives toward ending the stigma associated with mental and substance use disorders.
A person may enter our programs as a self-referral or as a referral from a physician, the courts, family members, or other agencies. People seeking help will be admitted to treatment based upon their individualized need(s), which is determined by a screening or assessment. Below are some of the first steps you will take on your path to recovery.
Substance abuse is the excessive use or dependence on an addictive substance, especially alcohol or drugs. This is a devastating issue with the ability to cause significant harm, both immediate and long-term, in every aspect of a person's life. When abuse leads to addiction, the potential increases exponentially for those issues to become more severe.
Utopia Health Center offers comprehensive services that include psychiatric evaluations and medication management. These services are available to children, adolescents, and adults with psychiatric disorders to include co-occurring.

Psychotherapeutic medications do not cure mental illness, but in many cases, can help a person function despite some continuing mental pain and difficulty coping with problems; in addition they may make other kinds of treatment more effective. One of the most effective and life-changing forms of care that can help adult men and women, aged 18 and older, overcome the compulsion to engage in substance abuse.
Behavioral health disorders are illnesses that affect an individual's behavior and overall emotional well-being. Without receiving proper treatment and support, behavioral health disorders can have a negative effect on relationships, jobs, school which can include loss of significant relationships, unemployment or expulsion from school, development of many negative physical consequence, and many more.

I've only been seen once here. I've tried to schedule a follow up appointment for over a month now. I submitted a form on their website. I've called them every business day from 1/18/22 - 2/3/22. Most times no one answers. When I do speak with someone they say someone will get back to me, but no one has. My prescription is empty. Either this place is terribly overwhelmed or they don't care about their patients' well being. Mental health is not a joke.

We are working harder everyday to improve the processes at Utopia. We are not perfect and welcome constructive criticism. We realize the community and our staff are the most important investment, so lets work together to be the best.

Family oriented healthcare center. The therapist were very professional and helpful in assisting me. They created a space where I felt comfortable to be me so I could get the treatment necessary

So I got a referral from my doctor to come to this health center. I've called many times today and I will say that the front desk does not have a good habit of answering the phone. Only once out of about 6 times calling did the administrative assistant pick up. Since they are doing televisits due to COVID it seems as if they take initial information over the phone (insurance info, address, and even SSN) which was weird. As if you were checking in first time to a physical or primary care physician, and it would've been my first time with this facility. She wasn't even sure if my

From the moment I walked in, although busy and yes there was a bit of a wait, the staff here were very welcoming and had a great demeanor! There’s an older gentleman (sorry if you see this lls) who was beyond accommodating and had a very unique sense of humor. He made my first visit a great visit. During my second visit the room was packed with clients but I was ok waiting a little while to be seen. That same gentleman was walking ppl to their cars, as it was slightly dark, and making sure ppl got out safely. My doctor (Dr. Olele) was warm and inviting and made me very comfortable with sharing

Insultingly disorganized. I showed up for intake appointment, staff member was not even there. Second intake appointment, I was seen an hour after my scheduled time. Was told I get a scheduling call next day to book time with the doctor, and the day after that I'd get a different followup call - NEITHER CALL HAPPENED. Then appointment I had blocked off the week before all this with the doctor 3 weeks ahead of time I was told was not scheduled. For people who really need treatment or support, I suggest you look elsewhere to not become involved in this vortex of unprofessionalism and chaos.

To be able to feel safe, cared for and supported by amazing clinicians has done wonders for my teenage son. I was a bit apprehensive in the beginning, but as time went by, I started to see the healing affect after every session. Thanks for being such a awesome team.

We are pleased with the services Utopia Health Center has provided for our staff and those we refer to them. The therapist are well trained and knowledgeable of mental health care for children and adults. They showed compassion when addressing sensitive topics and were available when we reached out. We look forward to continuing our services with Utopia.

Very unorganized and sorry a** staff. The heffa my niece came to see was nonchalant about her job and was acting like she was in a hurry to leave and didn't show any support....That heffa got to GO! Please do better in the future cause we can't have our folks out here looking bad

I’m very disappointed. They seemed very unprofessional from the 1st day of our consultation. We had 2 sessions after that With ms. Yolanda. We go to our 3rd appointment and all of the sudden she no longer works there and nobody called to inform us. SO UNPROFESSIONAL. From the 1st consultant I tried very hard not to judge and keep trying as I needed to get help for my son. So we stuck through it but I should of followed my gut. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS CENTER TO ANYONE. I have yet to even get a call from anyone.

This is a 0 star review, but Yelp makes us leave 1 star!!

STAY AWAY STAY AWAY!!!! This is supposed to help with mental health?? How? NOBODY picks up the phone. So you cannot leave a message. I called this morning at 9, and it sounded as if, I woke the receptionist up. I made an appointment on Monday for Friday and had not heard anything back, so I called to "confirm," after being put on on hold, 3 separate times, she came back and said, "Can we reschedule?" Then asked "Did you schedule this online?" Yes, like when I told her earlier in the week I scheduled online

This is a very unorganized place. They do not communicate with new patients about the process of seeing a psychiatrist. Those seeking service are already vulnerable and if you don't seem to care or want to help, then why be in this line of work?

Utopia seems more concerned about collecting a co pay than giving patients the help they deserve. They make an already stressful experience that much more stressful

The experience was so weird. I'd just like to note that since I've been unemployed my insurance has unfortunately changed and therefore my options are limited. Anyway, I've been to a therapist before. An sweet lady who unfortunately moved to Iowa. She provided a cozy, loving, and intimate environment; so much so that she scheduled her appointments in a way that there was never anybody else in the waiting area, giving each client privacy and a chance to reflect before the appointment. This office was completely different. It was just like a PCP office. A bunch of noisy people waiting

Wow! Not what I expected. Called in need of RX And expressed how bad I'd been feeling since out of meds and looking for new Dr. Got there and was 'interviewed ' by two staff members for 45 min.

I asked when I would see the dr and was told he's only there 2 days a week out of a possible 6 day work week. Oh and this wasn't one of them. (Had I known I never would have wasted my time) they repeatedly asked if I wanted to hurt myself to which I answered NO EACH TIME! The one associate was about to schedule a follow up with the invisible Dr (which I would have definitely declined

This place was awful. I called and spoke with Anna regarding meeting with a doctor after she assured me of my appointment and I could receive an assessment for a court hearing she was lying. When I arrived there was no doctor available. She was the receptionist pretending to do an evaluation, the she lied after I complained got therapist to pretend to be a doctor. All this while telling another patient tgeir clinician was in the hospital and they had nobody there. A little kid was in crisis and Anna the receptionist said, I have lost 30 lbs trying to keep this place open. Don't go. Waste if time
