Services
Everyone has their own personal experience relating to cancer, whether it be a family member, friend, or even themselves. Cancer is a horrible disease that affects millions of Americans every year. This genetic disease is caused by changes to genes that control the way our cells function, especially how they grow and divide.
My daughter and her friends were only available on a certain day and time. The Director immediately added a class to the schedule for us at the time we were available. My daughter took private voice lessons at GCDS right before a school play audition and she got the lead role. If it weren't for the lessons at Garden City Dance, she might not have the lead role.
Now Auditioning for our Dance Team. We are looking for Serious Dancers who are ready to Train with Teachers from Broadway Dance Center!. Garden City Dance Studio offers a competitive dance team for children ages 5 and up. The team competes annually in both a locally-hosted "Regionals" competition and a "Nationals" finals competition held within the tri-state area.
Mommy & Me: This is a class for ages 2 - 2.5 for tots and a grown-up (mom, dad, grandparent, or caretaker) to experience their first dance class. Children will learn to separate from parents, learn gross motor skills, hand/eye coordination, left and right all while having fun thru dance games and songs.
Learn all of the details of what makes a great audition and how to land the role! Coaching from Heather Berman--a working actor, print model, professional musical theater performer, dance teacher/competition judge and former Rockette. Work on prepared TV and film sides, songs, dance routines, and monologues.

Garden City Dance Studio is amazing! The staff is all super friendly and welcoming. There are many beautiful rooms with plenty of space. They take your temperature as you walk in, have you sanitize your hands, wear masks, and I felt very safe and comfortable with all the precautions they were taking. Absolutely love coming here!!!

6 Years and a pandemic later—- I am still so impressed with Cathy, the staff, and all of the instructors at GCDS. They have a beautiful facility, and have gone above and beyond making it a safe environment for our children during these crazy times! The teachers are all amazing, I'm impressed with the technique my daughter has developed learning from the instructors there. My daughter continues to grow, and GCDS has become her second home and second family! She always leaves with a smile on her face, I couldn't be happier with our overall experience here.
