Welcome to Mary Jane's Preschool and Kindergarten, a part time preschool program offering the best in early childhood education. We are located in Pleasant Hill and serve children ages 3 to 6. Mary Jane Huff founded our school in 1972. Today, we continue to make her life dream of providing a safe, fun, nurturing, and enriching program a reality for local children.

Services
We believe the early years represent a wondrous and important time in a child's life. This age represents a time when basic patterns and attitudes of learning and living are formed and necessary skills are developed. We believe by fostering a sense of self-worth in each of our students, we help them learn to respect and care for others in their ever expanding world.
Mary Jane's offers a balanced and comprehensive early childhood program. We offer an enriching and engaging curriculum where students grow socially and academically through hands-on learning experiences. The concepts and skills we introduce are appropriate to each child's stage of development and reinforce social, emotional, physical, cognitive, and creative growth.
Our academic-based Junior Kindergarten program provides a balanced and comprehensive early childhood curriculum. Activities to expose students to our diverse world are integrated throughout our classes. Our core curriculum includes phonics, literacy, math, science and an introduction to Spanish. In addition to daily outdoor play, there are many opportunities for students to participate in creative expression through art and music.
The registration fee is $50 for current students and $100 for new applicants (siblings are considered new applicants). Once the application is received and you have been accepted, a registration packet will be sent to you. The completed registration packet, along with immunization records and the first months tuition payment will be due 30 days after acceptance.
