Our five children contributed to the business growing up. James and Grace are now full-time employees with Rebecca working part time as needed. Marcia is co-owner of Lawns R Us. She enjoys volunteering at the Tazewell County Pregnancy Resource Center in Pekin. She also is an active team member with the Deeper Still Ministry a post-abortive ministry. Grace is the youngest sibling of the Schillinger clan. But don't let that fool you. She is our office manager of the LRU Office.

Aeration services prevent excessive amounts of thatch from overtaking your lawn. Single aeration involves one pass over your lawn. Double aeration involves two passes. During aeration, our specialized machines remove small plugs of soil from the ground, which soon break down and return the nutrients to the soil.
Does your lawn have great amounts of thatch or matting? Lawns R Us will bring over our power rake machine that to help remove unwanted thatch. After the power raking has been completed, we will clean up and remove the debris from the power raking. Along with power raking, over seeding service may be recommended.
Lawns R Us provides gutter cleaning year-round, but most requests are made in the Spring after the maple seedlings (helicopters) and in the Fall after leaves have fallen. A "new" water problem in a lower part of the home may sometimes be caused by a clogged gutter. Many requests have been made for expensive grading services when all that is needed is a gutter cleaning service.
