Brothers Scott and Stan Schlueter started a lawn mowing company named Schlueter Bros Lawn Care in 1981 in Washington IL with second generation Jesse and Chris joining in 2013. Over the years we have evolved into a complete landscape maintenance service providing mowing, landscaping, fertilizer, pruning or your snow removal needs.
Rather than becoming a large company with many employees we have chosen to stay small, basically we still enjoy doing the work. We are here to service you, our client, giving you the landscape you desire whether that is a simple cost effective budget lawn or a show lawn. We believe in keeping our machinery updated and well maintained and overhead low by not spending a lot on advertisement, but letting the lawns we maintain be our billboard.

Services
We only use golf course grade, slow release granular fertilizer with liquid weed control 4 - 5 applications per year. We are state licensed in pesticides, turf and ornamentals with over 40 years of personal experience.
Because we do not have any employees and we are the only ones doing applications on your lawn, we are able to regulate fertilizer rates, adding more or less because each lawn is different and requires different amounts of fertilizer for the best turf quality.

We do our pruning work during the winter season as this is better for the plant and allows us to see each cut better. Properly pruned trees and shrubs are healthier and more attractive. We are not a large tree service, but rather specialize in small trees and shrubs, such as crab apples, fruit trees and ornamental shrubs.
As a full time company we are committed to servicing our commercial sidewalks and residential snow removal clients in East Peoria, IL, Germantown HIlls IL, Peoria IL, and Dunlap IL. Residential snow removal is a specialty for us. With years of experience we have developed a system that delivers a quality, value-based service that our clients enjoy.
