I know there are COVID restrictions but maybe reduce rates until you have full service again. Pay off the experience is the room service.... fresh sheets, towels, And chocolates on the pillows.

A true California classic hotel! Old school charm. Luxurious rooms with pipeless spa tubs. Romantic getaway. Best bed I've slept in! The angels were singing.

Love this place. Beautiful, clean, and spacious. Only small problem you can hear traffic, but windows block the sound. Great restaurant attached to hotel and friendly staff.

Best hotel to stay when visiting Paso Robles surrounding region. We always stay here when passing through or visiting the local vineyards. Clean rooms, super comfortable beds, but bathrooms.

Beautifully restored historic hotel in the heart of old-town Atascadero. Our room was spacious and well-appointed. The high quality linens and comfortable mattress made our night sleep very enjoyable. The large tiled bathroom with whirlpool tub provided an added sense of luxury to our stay. We will definitely stay here again.

I would give The Carlton six stars if l could. Beautiful Hotel and a one of a kind facility. It is a visit back to a time of grandeur in California. Excellent restaurant that made incredible pork ribs and a nice local beer and wine list. We got stranded with a car problem and the staff was very helpful. It made a positive out of a difficult situation. Tara at the front desk gets a special call out for everything she did. She was both charming and helpful. If you are coming to the area for wine tastings or any other type of tourism in the area it would be impossible to top the Carlton.
A bargain

I have driven by The Carlton Hotel many times over the years, while stopping in town for gas. The building itself is a thing of beauty and the inside does not disappoint. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms will make you wish you had that luxury at home. The staff are helpful and friendly and there are plenty of places to eat and shop within walking distance. I travel up and down Hwy101 often, now The Carlton will be a go-to on those trips. I look forward to my future stays at The Carlton, my only regret is not trying the BBQ downstairs at the attached restaurant...next time.🙂
