Dr. Mankad graduated from Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia, PA. She worked in a group practice in Pennsylvania for 3 years before starting Brentwood Progressive Dental with Dr. Amor Tiburcio. While she didn't mind the snowy winters and humid summers she moved to the Bay Area with her husband.
Dr. Tiburcio graduated from Temple University in Philadelphia PA. He is an East Bay native. After working in Philadelphia for a few years he came back to the Bay Area to be closer to his family and further from the snowy winters and humid summers. He has worked in offices in the East Bay but started Brentwood Progressive Dental in 2008 with Dr. Ila Mankad to proudly serve Brentwood and surrounding areas.

I am approaching my one year anniversary here at Brentwood Progressive Dental, and I have to say that I am so happy with my decision to choose them for my dentist. I never really knew anything about dental hygiene or what it takes to make sure that your teeth or gums are healthy until I found this wonderful practice. Mr. Tiburcio is amazing! He is very good at explaining what needs to get done and sets out a game plan for you. Not only that, the entire staff is fantastic. When Vanessa calls me to remind me about my appointment, I feel that I am the only one that gets excited to go to the dentist

Amazing staff at Brentwood Progressive Dental. The doctors and staff are both personal and amazing at their jobs. From the initial check in to check out you deal with not only people that are professional, but really friendly as well. My wife and I have been bringing our two young daughters to them for years who actually enjoy going to the dentist. We would highly recommend you switching to them if you want a dentist that is simply great.

Great office to get your dental work. Everyone is always friendly. They explain treatment in detail, explain what they are doing when they do it, and chat with you to help you keep your mind off of what they are doing. Just what you need to keep the dental jitters away. Somehow wonderfully reasurring and distracting all at the same time.
