We are a dental practice devoted to restoring and enhancing the natural beauty of your smile using conservative, state-of-the-art procedures that will result in beautiful, long lasting smiles! We are grateful for the opportunity to serve the communities of Brentwood, Byron, Oakley, Knightsen, Discovery Bay and Bethel Island.
The first step towards a beautiful, healthy smile is to schedule an appointment. Our scheduling coordinator will contact you to confirm your appointment. If you were already sure of what you need and don't have any questions to be answered by us over the phone, and we can let you schedule your new patient or existing patient re-care hygiene appointments through our partnership with LocalMed online.

We are closed for lunch from 1pm to 2pm on Monday through Friday. We abide by the Golden Rule and try and make your appointment as we would want our own. We make sure to not double book and schedule plenty of time for your visit and most importantly, your appointment should begin on time, every time. Dr. Freitas is thrilled to be practicing dentistry in his hometown.
Most often, we see new patients for a regular checkup appointment. At this appointment we will do a thorough exam, including charting your existing dental condition, oral cancer screening, taking or reviewing x-rays and going over any concerns you might have.
Most often a cleaning is done at this appointment and many times it will be done by Dr. Freitas (he feels like it's a great opportunity to get to know you and your teeth while letting you get to know him).Expect this appointment to take over an hour for adults so we have time to do the job right. This is not a corporate chain office where you are herded in and out.

I haven't been to the dentist in years since I was a teen! I always feared going to the dentist, but the people here made me feel more comfortable and were so friendly. They were very thorough and explained things way better than my past dentist. Best customer service I received all year. I felt happy for the rest of the day :) I'll definitely be back!

I'm very picky about dentists. I had the same dentist for over 40 years, so it was always hard for me to change dentist. Dr. Freitas is an absolutely wonderful dentist. He and his staff are excellent. I would recommend his office to anybody looking for a dentist. Every experience I have had has been excellent.

Friendly, clean, professional. Dr. Freitas and staff are dedicated, highly competent and kind. I’m kind of new to Brentwood and needed a dentist when I started having some pain and bleeding. Dr Freitas’ staff worked me into his schedule to look at the problem. They were very thorough and the equipment is up to date — all digital xrays immediately available. Dr. Freitas took his time to understand and thoroughly assess my issue and I left fully satisfied and reassured about my dental health. Super dentist. I highly recommend

The only dentist you should ever even consider! Dr. Freitas is the best dentist in Brentwood for your family, period. After several very bad experiences with local dentists who actually made my dental situation worse, Dr. Freitas saved the day. He fixed the issues with care and expertise. Since I began seeing him, I have had no issues and only stop in every 6 months for a cleaning. His office is clean, modern and comfortable. The staff are welcoming and caring. Dr. Freitas offers excellent preventive care, dental repair (I have two crowns that he replaced and have had no issues) and is personable

This is the dentist that I decided to go to after years of not having dental insurance. He is from Brentwood and went to Liberty High School. I also liked that he has a new practice with new state of the art equipment, and has training in the latest techniques. This really helped me get back to the dentist after such a long time off.
