Grinders (also called comminutors) provide protection for pumps and other downstream equipment, helping to minimize expensive and unplanned maintenance. JWC Muffin Monsters and Channel Monsters are dual shafted, slow-speed, high-torque grinders which shred material such as rags, wood, flushed wipes, hair, clothing, plastic and other debris into small particle sizes.
JWC Environmental's Monster Industrial division offers Shred and Hydro grinders for both dry and wet grinding applications. Monster Industrial provides grinder solutions for applications ranging from size reduction, product destruction and material recycling in industries such as: food waste, oil & gas and digestion/bio-gas.
SLB - The IPEC SLB is an "all in one" screen and compactor for pumped flows up to 300 gpm. Bandscreens- UHMW center flow type screen where material capture is crucial - 2, 3, or 6mm perforations. Finescreens- flow through screen with option for UHMW "Staple Guard" panels - 3 or 6mm perforations. Internally Fed Rotary Drum Screens- for pumped flows.
PB Equipment offers the Bosman plate fine bubble membrane diffusers. These membranes have a proven 15 year life without the need for replacement. The top feed design results in the greatest possible submergence depth and provides a higher efficiency than competitive diffusers. Existing basins can be retrofitted to achieve substantial energy savings.
The Tritan belt filter press and a Rotary Drum Thickener (RDT). Typically, the Tritan belt filter press can achieve 15%-18% dry solids for aerobic sludges (higher for anaerobic) and the RDT will produce between 6%-9% dry solids. The RDT has helped multiple Pennsylvania municipalities lower their sludge costs by hauling more solids and less water.
