Essy is a mensch. To have an ally/auto mechanic in a city like sf is priceless. Ask me any questions I've had amazing service from this business.

Euro-Japan maintains my Porsche Boxster. Owner Essi is very attentive to customer service and car maintenance needs. Prices reasonable, particularly in light of quality of service. Highly recommended.

Fantastic service, went in for a 60k checkout, car came out running brand new. The owner gave me a very detailed checklist of everything they went over, and gave me a very fair price up front. I would definately recommend them over a dealership anyday.

It's rare that you find a mechanic like Essy. He's incredibly knowledgeable, honest and provides second to none service. His honesty shines through via his business philosophy: views the customer relationship through long term lens where he gets to know you, your schedule, your car and provides relatable/smart advice on how to care for your car depending on who you are vs. a blanket solution/short sited lens where one can often get taken advantage of. Sad that I'm moving across country and will have to find another Essy. My confidence is low :)

I had a suspension problem and took the car to another Audi shop first. They said I needed to replace the entire suspension ($2500). I stopped in and Essy fixed a loose sway bar for $150. Honesty is refreshing these days.

My 2011 335d just topped 100K that pushed it off warranty. I didn't want to go back to the dealer and found Essy instead through a recommendation from a close friend. Essy was courteous and professional. He performed both the 100K and 104K check ups at once. I dropped of on Tuesday around 11 and picked up by 4pm the next day. Incredibly fast service at a good value. At pick up, Essy sat with me and patiently went through both services and the costs for each with me. I left confident that my car was well cared for and will bring her back for her checkups.

Essy is fantastic - he understands the value of customer service, providing a fair assessment of what your car absolutely needs done, will need done soon, and what's not needed. In San Francisco, where mechanics are biased towards overcharging, Essy is a breath of fresh air.

I also appreciated his attention to detail - he remembers his clients, their cars, and even sends a Holiday card around the holidays (which while it may seem trivial, is something people just don't seem to take the time to do these days).

Great shop. And for the record I have an Acura which I get serviced here regularly

Good mechanic and solid experience previously, but pretty rude treatment when went to drop car off. Rejected my business. Had been several years since I went there and he was too busy.

I have been going to euro Japan for over 7 years. Would not trust my car to any other mechanic in the city. Great service. Great quality. Great people working there.

I've been bringing my cars to Essy and the team for almost 4 years now. Even though I don't live in the city anymore, I'll take the time out to drop it off for service here. I'll echo a lot of the 5 star reviews by saying I completely trust Essy and his ability to diagnose and fix problems. He is a true craftsman - very thorough, detailed oriented, and will document all his findings.

I'm an owner of a higher mileage, aging BMW 330i (E46) and always a little scared of the "big repair" that will cost a lot or force me to part ways with the car. However, every time

Two wods - Essy rocks!! I own an Acura TSX and was told by the dealership that the clutch needed a replacement which costs a boat load of cash (make that a yacht load). I was super nervous but based on the reviews, I decided to take it to EURO-japan and have them check it out. Drop it off around 8:30 and give James the quick overview of the issue. He tells me that Essy is going to look at it and get back to me.

I get a call back around 3:30 in the afternoon. Expecting to hear the worst and then Essy tells me that everything looks good. Clutch is fine. The pedal needed a bit of lubricating but

I can't give enough stars to this operation! Essy is such a top notch guy that I really cannot say enough kind words for this business. Euro-japan got me out of a really bad situation when another mechanic was unable to fix my car. Not only did Essy and his team salvage the situation, but he was able to use creativity in fixing the axle for a cheaper price. I never even think about taking my car anywhere else. Mercedes Benz local shop is a joke next to this guy! Take it to Essy and let him recommend how to proceed. This guy is a miracle for cars.

I am always well informed with what is going

I love these guys! I have been taking my car to Essy and his team for years now and they are truly amazing! They are honest and caring and seem to love cars, and are always upfront and honest about what your car needs right away and what can wait.

Will always bring my cars here, as long as I am buying Japanese or Euro cars - I highly recommend them.

I've been going to EURO-japan Auto Works for about a decade now and can truly say that they provide the most honest and high-quality auto service I've ever had.

Essy and his crew are top notch and very skilled. They're fast and complete, even to the point of fixing a problem with a window rolling up when they were repairing my brakes.

You can trust they'll give you the honest truth about your mechanical needs, even if that means recommending you to a specialist, or that you really don't need any repair at all.

Very fair prices, and super nice people. What more could
