Services
Framecrafters has been building motorcycle frames for over 20 years. We have derived our basic building principals from great chassis pioneers such as Colin Seeley, Rob North and the McCandless brothers, to name a few. Over the years FC has developed their own variations of classic racing frames while retaining period correct design characteristics.
Framecrafters FAT Featherbed is a new twist on an old classic. Modeled from an original Norton Featherbed Slimline frame FC has made a few improvements over the original design. The fitment of an additional tube from the steering head back to the mid-chassis cross tube significantly reinforces the steering head while providing a more secure location for mounting the top motor mount.
The 2015 racing season was a successful one, with three national podium finishes and two regional titles. As we work through the details for 2016 we thank all our 2015 sponsors and look forward to another year of shared success! Please enjoy the 2015 season summary below, highlighting ups and downs that we all experience within this great sport of motorcycle racing.
What do you need from me to build a frame? Ideally we would like from you: the motor preferably just the shell i.e. just cases, cylinder, and head. No guts) seat base, fuel tank, oil tank (if required), rear suspension, rear hub, carb(s), air box if any, and any body work. Will you build a frame from photos?

Framecrafters ruined my rickman frame. I wanted the frame to be tig welded, so the brazed it. I have had to have it repaired 3 times by another shop. the first time it cracked and i almost crashed. If you like life do not use them. They have no talent and just out for the money. they talk a great story but there quality sucks. go somewhere else for quality, it is not with framecrafters
