Morrie's Place has been helping keep your vintage Triumph, BSA, Norton, and other British motorcycles on the road not just since 1954, but since your bike was new. Located in Ringwood, IL, Morrie's Place has over 15,000 part numbers, both new and used, in stock, for vintage motorcycles. With our new developing website you are able to shop online, over the phone, or in person at our parts counter.
Services
Morrie's Place was founded in the 1940's when Morrie Gauger began buying, selling and fixing motorcycles. He first became a dealer for BSA, and with his wife Ruth, opened Gauger Cycles in 1954 on the family farm in a small workshop. Over the years he added on to that building multiple times to accommodate the Triumph, Norton, Matchless, Ducati and BMW marquees to the business.
Most part numbers are now 6 digits - frequently beginning with 04 or 06, and followed by 4 digits. Norton part numbers on our website do not include the (-) like the Triumph and BSA numbers. We have tried to update all of the early numbers on the site with the updated part number. If desired, there is a "Supersession and Amended Part Number List" available as part number 005753.

This place is like an amazing museum full beautifully maintained classic British motorcycles. I love going there just to look all these bikes. Jake is the head mechanic despite his young age he’s got incredible mechanic skills and knows exactly what he’s doing. He’s very modest and comes across as honest guy who really loves what he does. He went beyond what I expected in getting my 72 Tiger in shape. He checked the whole bike not just install the new ignition switch. He changed what he saw need to changed to make the bike safe. He not only replace the front cable but inspected and corrected

The owner, Ed Zender is one of the nicest most knowledgeable guys you will ever meet. After spending around $150 my first visit, I got about $200 worth of advice. He definitely takes the time in explaining things no matter how busy he is. im not sure how he does it, but his prices are the best I've seen...including online vendors.
