There are a number of reasons why you might prefer contact lenses to standard eyewear: a glasses-free look, hassle-free vision correction, wearing non-prescription sunwear and goggles, or the convenience of not having to worry about misplacing your glasses. If you have a high prescription or astigmatism, contact lenses may provide more enhanced vision correction than glasses.

As a parent, you may wonder whether your preschooler has a vision problem or when you should schedule your child's first eye exam. Eye exams for children are extremely important because 5 to 10 percent of preschoolers and 25 percent of school-aged children have vision problems. Early identification of a child's vision problem can be crucial because children often are more responsive to treatment when problems are diagnosed early.

Not only did Dr. Hastie see my son almost instantly, but I have also been seen as a new patient and scheduled my daughter as well. All of this in less than one month. The service is top notch, we felt very safe and taken care of with Dr. Hastie! I would not hesitate to send my family and friends to Valley Vision. Thank you to them for their amazing service.

Valley Vision has a sign at their main desk stating that patients must get a retina scan due to covid, which is usually not reimbursable by insurance. The woman I talked to was not able to explain the medical justification for this, however. This leaves me thinking this is simply a way to generate revenue for Valley Vision.
In two visits to Valley Vision, I found their employees to be patronizing and unpleasant. I will remain a patient of Junction Eye Center and will not return to Valley Vision.

Dr. Hastie and Valley Vision are fantastic! They do exceptional work, are very friendly and enjoyable people, appear to have and use the latest optometry technology, are affordable, and have a beautiful and comfortable office. I've been having trouble getting my difficult vision needs met for contacts in the area at several other places. Yet Valley Vision helped me incredibly quickly and effectively on very short notice. I highly recommend Dr. Hastie and Valley Vision!

Lovely clinic with an awesome staff! Everyone was super nice and helpful from making the appointment to the exam. I had an appointment with Dr. Jones and he was great, he and his wife are the two doctors that own the practice so that's adorable. Also, I thought the prices were very reasonable especially considering my insurance doesn't cover vision. They didn't make me feel guilty for asking about prices of everything and didn't push me to buy anything either which is so refreshing!
