Timco Construction was founded by Thomas E. McKee, or Tom as most knew him. Tom served in the Navy as a Petty Officer 1st Class in the Korean War. In 1955, Tom returned home to Robbinsdale, Minnesota where he decided to attend Saint Cloud State University earning a B.A. in economics. Upon graduation, Tom began working in residential construction.
