I've been to this place a few times and it's always been good.

My favorite time to come is lunch and I order from the lunch menu. The meats are tender (for the most part) and seasoned well.

I've only had one "ok" experience which was during dinner. I ordered the combination chicken and Koobideh. The roasted tomato was amazing, the basmati rice with saffron were on point, the steamed vegetables were seasoned and cooked to perfection. Unfortunately, the meats were a bit dry and over cooked.

The service had been always great as the servers are friendly and take time

We have been here plenty of times. this sport never disappoints. we never leave hungry from here. wasn't able to catch a photo of my other plates since we were all busy eating and having a good time. recommend coming here if your around the area.

FIRST ANS LAST TIME HERE I ORDERED ONLINE THROUGH THE WEBSITE I WALKED IN AND WAS TOLD WE DONT HAVE OR TAKE ONLINE ORDERS. How this makes sense I don't know not a great first impression I waited almost 25 minutes for pick up then was told it would be another 15 minutes because it was made on the spot. Update Your Online Website SILK ROAD!! I would give zero stars if I could the worst experience ever.

Great food, large portions which makes the overall experience well worth the price. Highly recommend the Lamb Shank as it was favored by all 4 of us!!!

Great food and excellent service! I wouldn't say it's a super authentic place however it doesn't change the food quality. They have a covered patio for the cooler nights.

My guest and I had a wonderful early lunch today at this unassuming but comfortable restaurant. We had their lunch special consisting of three delicious parts (a Greek salad, a lamb wrap, three chicken medallions, marinated in Mediterranean flavors) all for a bargain price of $13.95 per luncheon. We also had a side order which was equally delicious. The server was attentive, competent and friendly. Highly recommended!

We came across this place on my 22nd birthday after our reservations at the cheesecake factory were cancelled due to police activity. We were walking around in the rain looking for a place that would take 7 people without a reservation, and Silk Road happily sat us on their heated patio and we had the best meal! We had the nicest waiter (didnt get his name unfortunately), but everyone loved their meals and it wasnt even expensive! What I thought was going to be a ruined night turned into finding a hidden gem and finding a new favorite spot! Will for sure be coming back.

The name was sufficiently intriguing that we decided to drop in and try it out. We were looking for a new place to visit for lunch in the restaurant district of Walnut Creek. Their outside seating was quite full so we requested inside seating. Contrary to public health requirements, they did not ask to see our vaccination cards, nor did they even ask if we were vaccinated. There was no one else inside so we seated ourselves. The experience here is very rushed by servers with no etiquette who dislike their job. The food is hit or miss. It's a shame because the location is great.

Silk Road is a gem tucked away in downtown Walnut Creek. Their food is an amazing Persian fusion, and the service is impeccable. Our waiter was incredibly attentive when we arrived and would not stop all night - and he was the only server of the night!

It doesn't tend to be too busy and they seated us right away. I ordered the pomegranate chicken and it was delicious. The other kebabs looked and tasted amazing as well. I would definitely give Silk Road a try if you're ever in the area!

Two main points: service and bread.
The service here is one of the best I've ever experienced! The gentleman who sat us was super friendly and pleasant, it seemed like he may be the owner..? We stayed for a while and had a few different servers check on us, and each and every one of them was super nice, to the point of making us feel special lol. Soon as we sat down they brought us a HUGE plate of warm, soft pita with dip. Good god that was probably one of the best breads I've ever tasted in my life. We were a big group of friends here las weekend, for a Birthday celebration. The owner ( a persian guy) and our server were super nice and they generously offer us 2-3 different appetizers, and tea service, and they played a music for our celebration .
our foods were very tasty and good quality, we really enjoyed everything in Silk Road, and definitely come back here.

Pretty cute and awesome place in Walnut Creek. Silk Road did not disappoint. I placed a schedule online order for Sunday lunch, and the food was on time ready to pick up. We ordered the following -

Pepperoni Pizza - small pizza for ~$16, but it was packed with flavor. Good cheese and pepperoni to bread ratio.

Vegetarian Pizza - same as above, same size pizza.

Garlic Prawns - tiny prawns on some greens. The person that ordered this ordered this appetizer as her meal, but it was rather small and not that flavorful.

Gyros Platter - comes with an amazing amount of gyros, some lettuce with tomatoes

No fancy website, no vertical gardens, and no thrills. Just an authentic spot with a staff that cares and really solid food at a reasonable price.

Great family restaurant...food is always top notch.

This place has been in Walnut Creek a long time, let's all make sure it stays!

Wonderful place for delicious Greek food. Greek food is a favorite of mine. Love it! The hummus and pita bread that they give you is outstanding.

Service, has always been wonderful. Chicken kabob is my favorite with a side of hummus. My family has been going here for a long time, and will keep going!

The food was amazing! So fresh warm and delicious. The staff was very professional and quick with our food/drinks. We never had to ask for anything. The owner cared and checked on everyone dining to make sure we were all pleased. I haven't had this grade of food or service since Covid started. It made me forget we were in 2020 altogether except the hand sanitizer at the table. Thank you!
