Adam E. Shestack, MD, is the medical director at Florida Pain Management Institute in Delray Beach. Dr. Shestackis dual board-certified in anesthesiology and pain medicine with advanced expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of low back and neck pain, musculoskeletal and nerve pain disorders, cancer pain, sports injuries, CRPS/RSD, and chronic pain syndromes.
Carol started her career as a registered nurse graduating with her Bachelor in Nursing from Western Governors University in Utah. She worked in the emergency room, interventional radiology unit, and post-anesthesia care unit at several local south Florida hospitals. Carol received her Master of Science in Nursing in 2019, South University (FL/Savanah), and joined Florida Pain Management Institute.
Tammy is a certified physician assistant with over 15 years of experience in orthopedic medicine and pain management. She attended Western Ct. State University in Danbury, CT where she received her Bachelor of Arts, and went on to Daemen College in Amherst, NY for her Physician Assistant Certification.

This was my first visit to Dr Shestack. The waiting room was very crowded because there were 3 doctors seeing patients that day. However the reception staff were very polite. When I finally got in to see the doctor, he was very patient, attentive and did not rush me. I was very comfortable with his plan of care and would definitely come back to see him again.

As soon as Dr.Shestack walked into the exam room I knew I was in good hands as he instantly gave me the confidence that he could help me. His demeaner was so friendly and professional my uncertainty was gone in an instant. He fully explained the ablation 'process' that would be required for my condition . It was the first time any pain management physician offered that treatment as a potential solution to my problem. To me, comfort and confidence in a physician is most important. I was uplifted by his confidence. After all, I am 84 and I want my active life back.

My roommate went here and the doctor was told he could not could not take Tylenol but when we got to the pharmacy the medication had Tylenol in it! So we refused it. That was 3 days ago and they have not called the pharmacy after 2 days of them leaving a message and I have called and left 4 messages over 3 days and NO Reply. My roommate is in great pain and cannot sleep without the medication. He is also handicapped so it is not easy for him to go to another doctor. Obviously this office is inept and does not care for it's patients.

First time at Florida Pain Management Institute. I was politely greeted by staff when I entered. After completing my paperwork, there's was a short wait to see the Dr. He was very thorough and understood my aliment. We spoke in detail of the diagnosis and prognosis. I feel very confident I will heal properly with the help and guidance of FLPMI. I highly recommend FLPMI for your medical needs.

and waiting for their nurse to complete vitals and discuss options..
Dr Shestack was extremely informative and allowed what to expect from the procedure.
In a short 20 minutes my pain was gone and could comfortably drive home. Which ive been unable to do for 6 weeks..

I had an appt.@9 am on Monday. I arrived early, filled out some of the new patient paper work, and was called before I was able to finish. The medical assistant was lovely, very friendly and took some vitals. Dr. Shestak came in a few minutes later. He asked some questions, had me stand up, and demonstrate where my back hurt. He then showed me a plastic spine, showed me where he thought my arthritis was. He was very personable, leaving me to think that perhaps I have a solution to my pain. Scheduled a procedure for a few days hence. Here’s hoping and praying.
