I am an elopement and wedding photographer based in Northern California, who shoots for the fun quirky weirdos who are unabashedly themselves. I capture the perfection that you are while having a laugh and (almost assuredly) crying along while you read your vows. My name is Katelyn and I want to meet you!

How you get married is a deeply personal choice. Here are a few things I have put together to consider if you want to elope or have a small wedding. I fully believe that you should get married your way. If that includes old traditions, no traditions, new traditions, all the family, no family, big party, or just the two of you, there is no wrong way to celebrate your commitment to your partner.
Services
How you start your marriage should be intentional, personal and should be connected to your story as a couple. Your story has been building since the day you met and this is an amazing new chapter. You shouldn't have to feel overwhelmed, pressured or obligated to do things that you just don't want.
How you choose to get married is significant. Who you choose to be there is important. This is the start of the next chapter of your story and how you choose to get married matters. Your wedding should be about the two of you, coming together to create a new family. If you feel that it should be just the two of you, perfect, let's plan that.
Couples Sessions/Adventure Sessions are something I always highly recommend. Quality time spent together where we can laugh and become comfortable with zero pressure. Also, it gives me time to figure out what the camera loves most about you, so you can look your best on your big day.

I love outdoor sessions and scouting for new locations and can't wait to go somewhere that is personal and meaningful to you, or take you somewhere new, adding another experience to your story!
I have two pages that explain in more detail, but in short an elopement is something under 25 people typically outdoors, where I would help you plan your timeline and location. This keeps the day small enough that it will be truly about the two of you and your marriage. A small wedding would be something under 60 people, where you would most likely have a venue, planners that I would work with to have a timeline.

No words can express the gratitude I feel in having met Katelyn as a friend and wedding photographer. She not only made both our wedding days more stress-free with her great smile and little quips, she beautifully captured what I inherently felt were the most stressful days of my life and turned it into this beautiful and intimate expression of joy and love. Most stressful point of the day? Family photos! Katelyn professionally wrangled our diverse lot and did so with a warm smile. She naturally fell into our crowd on our Chinese tea ceremony & banquet day and came back with great energy for our

Katelyn is an amazing photographer and so great to work with! She took our engagement photos and they turned out amazing! We were able to go to several spots around Golden Gate Park and then up to the Marin Headlands. She spent the whole day with us and gave us so many photos to use for our wedding website, invites, etc. As photographers ourselves, we really wanted to work with someone who had a strong creative eye and Katelyn delivered. I would recommend Katelyn over and over again for engagement or wedding work!

Katelyn is amazing! She took anniversary portraits of me and my husband and they turned out so beautifully! Not only were the photos gorgeous, she was so helpful in helping us pick out the perfect location. During the shoot, she totally put us at ease and was great at encouraging us to be affectionate with each other (which made for super cute photos) without making us feel cheesy or awkward. She was totally on top of everything and so easy and enjoyable to work with. Hire her! You won't regret it!
