We would like to express our sincere thanks for your services. You helped comfort us during another difficult loss. We are grateful to you and your staff for all you have done and we are touched by the extra steps you took to make sure our family was taken care of. We can't thank you enough for the beautiful job you did with our loved one's arrangements.

Every detail was taken care of just the way they had planned years ago. The Scott Family of Jeffersonville, Indiana, has been serving the local community since 1930 where we are proud to continue the tradition of being a family-owned and operated funeral home. We have a compassionate staff that is dedicated to aiding the families of our community during their time loss.
Services
Scott Funeral Home has a long history of serving the Jeffersonville, Indiana and surrounding communities. William M. Scott and Lois B. Scott founded Combs & Scott Funeral Home in 1930, which was located at 211 E. Maple Street in Jeffersonville, and is currently known as the Bliss house. In 1937, the funeral home was relocated due to flooding to the corner of Graham and Court Avenue where the family served the community until 1954.
At Scott Funeral Home, we take great pride in caring for our families, and will work tirelessly to provide you with a beautiful, lasting tribute to your loved one. In addition to the services we offer, you will receive an online memorial that you can share with family and friends. While honoring your loved one is our top priority, we also want to help you through this difficult time.
When planning a service, you have many options available to you and we will do all that we can to provide a beautiful and respectful ceremony. No matter your choice, we can offer you a space to join with family and friends in grief, comfort and love. And above all, we will do our utmost to honor your loved one.
A memorial visitation service will be held from 10 AM to 7 PM on Saturday at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway, Jeffersonville, IN 47130. She will be inurned at a later date in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery in French Lick, IN. Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents, James and Ethel Crowe; and two siblings, Richard Crowe and Diane Meredith.
Scott Funeral Home is proud to be the only local funeral home with their own private crematory. All other funeral homes in the area must use one of several public crematories, which handle thousands of cremations a year. Your loved one must be transported by the crematory to their facility, but with our own crematory your loved one never leaves the care of our staff.

The staff at Scott Funeral Home were very helpful and caring while planning our Uncles cremation/remembrance service. Also, the staff was very helpful with making sure we had the right paperwork and details to fly with his ashes to Maine.

Billy Scott and his staff were wonderful to my sister and I in making arrangements for my Mom’s funeral. They treated us with kindness and respect and made us feel at ease with everything. I can’t say enough about how beautiful my sweet Mom looked as well as the entire funeral service. Thank you to Conrad Moore for speaking for us. It was beautiful.

If it wasn't for Melody, (the receptionist) I would give them one star. My son passed away 3/2/2021 and because Aaron Scott is good friends with my ex husband's wife, they refuse to put my son's complete name on his death certificate as it is clearly printed on his birth certificate. I even contacted an attorney instructing the funeral home to correct my son's death certificate, to this day,, they refuse to abide by the law.. I also was never told about my son's funeral arrangements by Aaron Scott, per request of my ex husband. Aaron Scott tried to get me to sign a blank piece of paper, when I

Compassionate, attentive, tender, and kind. These are a few of the words that describe our experience with Scott family services. My younger sister and I lost our father in a traumatic experience in July 2020. It was left to us to plan his funeral as no arrangements had been made before. I called the funeral home at 11 pm on a Sunday to leave a voicemail and was connected with Billy Scott who was so unbelievably heartwarming from the minute he answered the phone until everything was over and we picked up the ashes. The day of the funeral was extremely difficult but Jon, who took over that day,

My husband passed away unexpectedly several months ago at 62 years old. I couldn't have asked for more kind, compassionate, caring people to help me. Hanna in particular was extraordinary to work with. She made my family feel so welcome in discussing the particulars of his funeral. They even followed up with me later to make sure I was OK. I would heartily recommend Scott Funeral Home to anyone.

I want to thank the staff, having to plan a service for a love one is already stressful but having to do it from another state is even more difficult. We thank you for the time you all gave us to spend one last time with him to making the process manageable, it made our ride back to VA better knowing he was in good hands.

I came here to support my friends when their daughter died. It was a horrible experience for all involved but the people at Scott's funeral home did a good job - at least from my perspective as a guest and friend of the family.

The service ran smoothly and things were organized well. They had ample tissues, had made a great video honoring the deceased and plenty of photos of her all around. They also had trained, professional staff on hand to help people during this ordeal.

The professionalism and compassion of the people of Scott's funeral home made a tough couple of days easier

Scott Funeral home handled the cremation and arrangements for my Father in December of 2014. This month, November of 2019, they handled the cremation and arrangements for my Mother. I've never had to worry about any details concerning either of my parents thanks to Scott's empathy, sincerity and professionalism. That says alot during a very stressful time in our family's life. I would highly recommend Scott to anyone who is looking for caring and professional service during a difficult time.

First and foremost, I want to thank Chad Qualkenbush for taking care of my family and I in such a great time of need. Chad you are truly one of kind and thanks again. We were treated as if we were family and the extra care Chad and the staff took with our family was heart felt. This was a 1st for our family having to use this type of service. I also want to thank Billy Scott for the comfort he provided to our family. Please don’t change anything because you and your staff are second to no other!
Sincerely,
Tim & Family
