I needed a director who had experience with handling arrangements for my uncle, who was a Catholic priest. Although I’ve been responsible for arrangements of other loved ones, none of them were a priest or had particularly unique needs. While my uncle was in palliative care, I needed to start the planning process, as I didn’t know the special planning that may be involved. A church acquaintance suggested I talk to Ratterman, specifically this location, and request David Hartley. He was undoubtedly the best director I’ve ever worked with. He helped me think of things I had no idea to think

We have gone to several funerals at Rattermans... family and friends. This current situation is the one that literally solidified my faith and trust of this company. My mother died suddenly of Covid and other problems. She lived in Oklahoma, but due to hospitals being full, she was moved to a hospital in Missouri. My sister and I traveled there as fast as we could, and we're able to see her for a few hours before she passed. Devastated we went to a hotel, as it was late at night, and contemplated what to do. We had lost our father 3 months earlier from a stroke. All I could think to do was contact

Ratterman helped us during this difficult time by caring for us in a very personal way. David kindly walked us through our plans and there was absolutely no pressure. We already knew David personally, and he could not have done a better job of helping us plan a beautiful burial and memorial service for my husband. Everyone we talked to you in the office was also very kind and caring. We love that this was a family owned business, and as we only chose to have family at the burial, both David and Mr. Ratterman help carry the casket. We were very touched. I would certainly recommend Ratterman.

When my father passed away we Joe Bille helped us tremendously. He was very courteous, kind, sympathetic and very humble. He saw to our every wish down to the smallest detail. He went above and beyond for the Bradshaw family. Our father looked like he was taking a nap very peaceful. Joe is very professionally and we could not have asked for a better consultant during our time of need.

My family and I were treated with the utmost respect and friendliness by the staff of Ratterman’s. I could not imagine any better service from another establishment. The employees demonstrate that they have a very sacred vocation to assist families with the passing of their loved ones. We were honored to be so well taken care of by the Ratterman family.
