Energy Physical Therapy is an outpatient rehabilitation practice that performs physical therapy in the comfort of our patients' homes. At Energy Physical Therapy, we bring the outpatient clinic to you. We can maximize your home physical therapy, rehabilitation and exercise program to address your individual needs in the comfort of your own home.
You are treated in the comfort of your own home making you more relaxed and receptive to care. You get continual care and one-to-one attention from our doctor of physical therapy, and are not passed from aid to technician the way you might be at large physical therapy clinics. Because we actually see your home, we can better tailor your daily goals to your physical environment.

Dr. Julie Adamski, a Pottstown native, graduated from Pottsgrove High School, then earned her undergraduate degree of Health and Exercise Science at Gettysburg College. After graduating from college, Dr. Adamski sat for her Athletic Trainers Certification and earned her Masters of Physical Therapy at MCP Hahnemann University, now Drexel.
Wear loose, comfortable clothing that allows the therapist to access the involved area of the body. Therapy sessions vary depending on your patient needs and diagnosis, but typically last one hour. At the end of your visit, you can schedule upcoming appointments for the week or month with your physical therapist who will strive to accommodate your schedule.
We are not participating providers with any commercial insurance companies. Our Medicare practice is limited to Part B and sometimes Part C. We encourage you to contact us with your insurance questions. If you have any difficulty in any of these categories, contact us to see how Energy Physical Therapy can help.
100% of your physical therapy will be spent with a Medicare-certified doctor of physical therapy. You get 100% of our attention with our one-to-one in-home therapy (as compared to large practice centers where you are treated alongside other patients, and may only see the therapist for 10 minutes per treatment session).
In this section, we provide answers to the most commonly asked questions about physical therapy. We hope you enjoy the information and share it with others. If you do not find the information you are looking for, please contact us. Traditional clinics employ technicians, aids, and assistants as part of your therapy.

Extremely satisfied with Julie at Energy PT, She came to our house and helped my wife to walk again after a broken hip. My problem was constant back pain, the exercises that I did with her have GREATLY reduced my back pain and then she worked with me to strengthen up my weak hip (a bad hip replacement 12 years ago which resulted in 2 of my 3 medius muscles not being reattahed and shriveling away). Anyway, after 12 years walking with a cane I am now able to walk without the cane! I usually refer to her as "Saint Julie".

Julie is amazing. My husband has multiple issues including pulmonary fibrosis, three left hip replacements, a fractured right hip, and a 'bone on bone' knee. She helped him with breathing exercises as well as exercises to minimize the hip and knee pain. He now feels more in control of his oxygen level so he can exercise. We are looking forward to her return visits in the spring. Thank you Julie!

I have physical therapy from several therapists and Dr. Julie is far and above the best I have experienced. She is not only professional and talented but her smile and enthusiasm combined with a people-oriented approach makes me want to follow her plans. She has not only helped me to improve my quality of life but has inspired me to want to continue her program at my home. Thanks Julie.

Dr. Julie worked with me for six weeks during two one-hour sessions per week. This
was my first experience with in-home physical therapy, and I was not sure what
to expect. We focused on how to improve my balance and vertigo issues. We did
a series of exercises to strengthen my legs and arms, and as a result I feel so much
better, stronger. I am more confident in walking, driving and shopping. Thanks to

I have a nerve condition caused by stenosis that is causing the muscles in my lower legs to not behave properly. If the condition worsens, it would be difficult for me to walk without losing my balance. There is no easy cure for the condition. My doctor recommended physical therapy, but was only lukewarm to the benefits that I would receive from working with a therapist. Well, to put it mildly, he should have been more positive about them because I feel the exercises are doing me a world of good.

Dr. Adamski has truly been a godsend to me. I have had many bumps and bruises, aches and pains, and two major knee surgeries over the past couple of years. And, although I am no longer a competitive athlete, I try to train like one and live an active lifestyle. Unfortunately, my body seemed to fail me. Before I began consulting with Dr. Adamski, I would just push through the pain, which only resulted in more injury and down time from training and an active lifestyle. Since I began consulting with Dr. Adamski, my aches and pains have subsided and I am now able to getting back to the physical activity

Dr. Adamski helped my husband become pain free and more mobile and we then introduced her to my elderly mother who was recovering from two serious falls.
My mother needed supervision around the clock and after working with Dr. Adamski she has become more self-sufficient and confident. She can now take care of her own needs during the day and feels good about herself.
She started with an evaluation and then re-evaluated when the course of treatment was completed. She sets goals for the patient and the family members and works diligently to get there. She also has a sense of the patient's feelings
