We bought a Campground! We were tired of dragging our camper up to the Grand Mesa so we bought a place to park it! We used to go on a nice vacation every year and realized that we haven't even explored our local treasures enough to justify a day's plane ride to another location. In addition to keeping our vacation money local, we're discovering the beauty that is in our own "backyard".
10/1/21 We are experiencing site errors. If you try to book, then back out of the booking page, it may lock you out for 15minutes before you can complete your booking. The page may display a message "can't find what you're looking for".this will clear up after the 15minute period. It's best to completely get off the website and try again after the 15 minutes.
Due to a recent encounter with a "bad apple" our pet policy has changed. If bringing a pet, we will require a credit card on file when you arrive. We will hold a copy of your card until the day of checkout. Host and Guest will walk through the cabin on day of Check Out to make certain the cabin is in the same condition as when Guest Checks in.
Our Shop features an eclectic mix of treasures. From antiques to handmade artisan pieces, you're sure to find something of interest. We will be opening for Holiday Shopping and collaborating with local artisans to ensure a unique gift for that someone special. We are open by appointment only for now, but make sure to check back for our Artisan Market Open Houses!
Yes, we'll say it again; The largest flattop mountain IN THE WORLD! Seriously, there's no need to go any farther until you've explored this beauty and all it has to offer. If fishing is what you are searching for, we are within 20 minutes of hundreds of lakes and streams on Grand Mesa, the largest flattop mountain in the world.

We stayed at the Cabins of Grand Mesa for 7 nights and had a wonderful time. The cabin was great, loved the antique furnishings. The property is bordered by the creek on two sides, providing nice areas to just hang out and relax. My husband did lots of birding and took many great pictures. Liz is a great host, we would love to go back in the Fall!

Our family spent a delightful week at the Cabins. Liz couldn't have been more accommodating, making sure our every need was met. Each cabin was unique and beautifully decorated. The location was perfect with easy access to biking, hiking, paddle boarding and even wine tasting. The ability to have each of our three families in their own cabin during this time of Covid 19 was also reassuring. We could share meals outdoors in the private space behind each cabin as well as the open space. Having our own grills was an added plus. We loved exploring the Western Slope and enjoying the Colorado great outdoors

My husband and I stumbled onto The Cabins of Grand Mesa while traveling to Cedaredge. The Owner Liz very nice and accommodating. Each cabin is decorated differently. The cabins are very cute and cozy. We enjoyed at night sitting and watching the stars. Went to the local apple farm to get fresh apples. There is a creek that runs through the property. On our last day we took sandwiches and fresh apples enjoyed sitting by the creek eatting our lunch as our dog played in the creek. We extended for additional night because we enjoyed our stay so much and didn't want to leave.
Highly recommend The Cabins

The Cabins hold a special place in my heart. My grandparents owned this property decades ago and my Mom grew up here. She spent much of her teenage years on the property picking worms, harvesting fruit from the trees, caring for livestock animals, and cleaning the cabins! We first visited the property together in 2013 and were fortunate to be able to come back and stay in the Log House again this year. Being under new ownership, I wasn't sure what to expect, but Liz made us feel right at home. She was very attentive, friendly, and sincere. Thank you Liz for making our stay such a positive experience
