My wife, Pennie, and I chose to open our martial art school because there is so much negativity in our society. We saw a need to create a place of positive reinforcement for our community's children. We inspire students to become more successful in life by exciting them to reach new heights in the physical, mental and spiritual realms of being.
Through our practice and teaching we improve our student's self confidence, humility and compassion towards humankind. In so doing, we will help achieve world peace one person at a time. Services
Safe and dependable martial arts and fitness focused after school camp. We transport from LISD elementary schools to our martial arts school. Students participate in a wide variety of martial arts activities proven to enhance physical and mental abilities. Everyone on our staff is also a martial artist.
We have developed a unique approach to teaching time tested traditional martial arts. In our school, students are free to study one, two or three martial arts; at no extra charge. Our schedule is an open concept schedule where students are able to attend as many classes as they want throughout the week, as long as they meet the minimum age and rank requirements.
Nunan's Martial Arts Family program develops self-confidence, A+ self-discipline, and develops the character and leadership capabilities of each student in a safe and fun family environment. We equip kids for bully defense and prepare adults with self-defense skills all in one phenomenal program.

Nunan's Martial Arts is the premiere Martial Arts School in Cedar Park and the surrounding area. Our Youth Martial Arts classes provide each student with essential life skills, along with the techniques of Traditional Martial Arts (Tang Soo Do, Judo, Pekiti Tersia Kali, Haidong Gumdo and Jiu Jitsu) that will increase their discipline, fitness and confidence.
Nunan's Martial Arts offers well balanced programs for adults that emphasize self esteem, fitness and integrity. We have the best Adult Martial Arts, Self Defense and Fitness programs available. By following high standards we bring out the best in our students and increase their quality of life. Regular attendance in our adult classes will result in stress reduction and improved health.

Exceptional!
I have been training at Nunan’s, with 3 of my kids, for the past 2.5 years.
Master Nunan is both an incredible Tang Soo Do instructor and a mentor for children, teens and adults alike.
The school offers a great mix of teaching effective self-defense while always feeling like a family and community.
What I have felt with my kids is that training at Nunan’s has significantly helped them improve in everything the philosophy of the art is focused on: courage, concentration, endurance, honesty, humility, self control and more.
And yes.. when they kick me, it hurts !!

Nunan’s Martial Arts is an amazing, warm and friendly family oriented school. I have trained there for more than ten years. My sons also trained there and my oldest son reached all the way to second degree black belt. Master Nunan’s a very talented martial artist with a wealth of knowledge in the martial art of Tang Soo Do. He also has experience with Judo and Jiujutsu. He teaches fun, varied and physically challenging classes. In all the years of training there I have never been bored. I have also worked with the after school program and all that it entails. I have had my son enrolled in Nunan's for over two year and have loved it. Master Nunan and all of the teachers have high expectations for their students and create amazing relationships with them. My son's self confidence has continued to excel here from learning discipline, respect, and many more character traits and while training in this art form. I have been a student of Master Nunan for many years, and while I am currently not training due to work/life balancing, I can whole-heartedly recommend NMA as a premier Martial Arts Studio in the North Austin area.

My son has been attending for about 2 months now and he really enjoys it. The instructors are great with the kids, employing a good balance of kindness, discipline, and fun. If my kid could go every day of the week he probably would, so I really appreciate the flexibility of the classes. Keep it up, guys.

My daughter and I attended Nunan's Martial Arts for many years. We are no longer actively training due to change in family/life situation and the fact that we now live too far away to reliably attend class.

Would give it 0 starts, but is not an option. Totally disappointed with this place, not only one, but two times I tried to sign up our son there and the experience were horrible.
First time we get pricing information from a close friend and when I call the owner changes everything and gives me a totally different price, I understand a small difference between what my friend is paying, but come on double the monthly fee and add a registration is too much.

If I could give this place a minus zero, that would have been my evaluation to this place, and please save yourself upsetting moments and stay away from this place.
We tried to enroll our kid to this place after some good comments from friends, and after two failed and awful experiences, I am writing this review. We think that the owner is making some things in the wrong way, or Master Nunan is a racist, and because of that we have had these experiences with him.
The first time I wrote to the “Master” was requesting a space for my son because he was experiencing some bullying at the YMCA

This martial arts school is exceptional. The instructors are attentive and will work with you to accomplish the long term goals you desire for either you or your child. The environment is friendly and the people you train with become like your family. Recommended for anyone ages 4 - 100+. Just an outstanding program to be a part of.

My 6 year old son started at Nunan's in Kindergarten for the after-school care. We would stay and train some evenings and he also enjoyed the summer camp. He really took to the martial arts and accelerated through belts fairly quickly, coming home and showing me his moves that he needed to know for testing. He was able to master counting to ten in Korean as well as Chinese that another student taught him, as well as learning negative number math and being excited to tell me and ask me even more math questions for him to answer. Nunan's really keeps my son challenged, learning and disciplined
