For this reason, vaccination programs, physical exams, routine parasite checks including heartworm disease, tick borne disease and internal parasite testing are offered.

Our Doctors and Team Report

Dr. Hazel Holman, is a 1978 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. She completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Rowley Memorial Animal Hospital in Springfield, MA. She also practiced for 2 years in the Catskills and for 3 years in Holyoke before establishing the Blandford Animal Hospital.

My only regret is that I hadn't found them sooner! After being denied service from our former vet for not coming frequently enough and facing a $7,000 bill at an emergency vet with my cat when it needed an emergency surgery, I didn't know where to turn when our other cat had a broken toe. Blandford Animal Hospital not only stepped up quickly but saved me what would have no doubt been another emergency bill for who knows how much. Everyone on staff at Blandford Animal Hospital is just so amazing including the cat Luna at reception. They are professional, knowledgeable and affordable. My fur babies

We recently brought our puppy here for a double cherry eye and a snip. The staff is always friendly and seem to be just as exited as Cane for his visit. This will probably be his only vet.

This Vet Clinic is great! The staff are friendly and inviting. They are great with my petsand do a phenomenal job with their health care. Lastly the prices are better than any vet within 200 miles.

Amazing!!! They were all super calm and compassionate meeting our fearful, hesitant rescue lab mix. Dr. Holman and staff were able to interact, provide necessary care, and help us with more words of wisdom regarding our parental skills:). Even our dog left with confidence:). I am so happy to be back with this vet and I think the new ownership has stayed true to the spirit of the past owner. It’s more of a drive for me than my previous vet but it’s absolutely worth it. They care a lot about the animals, work to build rapport with the animals, communicate well with owners, are affordable and seem to have an excellent ability to figure out the root of the issue and make good recommendations for controlling ongoing health issues. They are extremely nice, and very caring. Other vets wouldn't take my kitty, Skeeter mcfluffins, for after care for his broken foot. Blandford animal hospital came through for him, and i couldn't be more greatful.

Coming home from Florida to Massachusetts to stay for good I needed a new Vet. I knew Hazel Holman from our Labrador connection. So decided to try Blandford Animal Hospital. From the moment I walked in I was most welcome. The staff was wonderful. Brenda at the desk, Serena, vet tech, and Dr Russ Lapiere the Veterinarian. I was there with my little Chi/Yorkie who had been seriously ill the past weekend. I was at ease right away with the warm understanding welcome. It meant so much to me and Izzy of course. He immediately fell in love with Serena. And Dr. Russ took so much care to make Izzy at ease

Very pleased. The staff from the front desk to the doctor was very friendly and helpful. Kya & Mia always seem to be a bit difficult (like a wound up top), but with the help and comforting love that was given, our 2 fur kids felt relaxed. Many thanks. Highly recommend.
