Dr. Hansen is so professional and friendly! She takes her time explaining everything going on with my puppy and answers all of our questions. We couldn’t have found a better veterinarian! All of her technicians and receptionists are helpful and kind as well. Thank you Somers Vet :)

I was hesitant about taking my dogs for their checkups and shots due to COVID-19. After discussing this with them on the phone and what their new policies were I felt comfortable taking them for their appointment. They made me feel safe and communicated with me via my cell while I waited in the car. Thank you for considering my safety, the staffs safety, and my dogs safety.

I took my tortoise in for an exam in mid October, and I have to say Somers Veterinary Hospital is incredible. It is hard to find a good exotic vet in my area but Dr. Nancy Karol Hensen was amazing. She was very knowledgeable and helpful, and gave me a confident answer to all of my questions. The staff that helped me schedule and coordinate my appointment were very respectful and even with Covid restrictions they were extremely fast and thorough. They are polite and friendly, and most of all, I felt that everyone in the office cared just as much about my animal as I do. Thank you to Ariel and Dr

I had just recently moved to the area when my cat passed away unexpectedly in her sleep. I contacted Somers Vet to do a necropsy and private cremation. The receptionists were exceptional at explaining every step of the process and breaking down costs for me, without even being asked. Dr. Hensen explained every finding of the necropsy in great detail, organ by organ, and helped me understand the cause of death. She also reassured me that there was nothing more I could have done for my cat and that she died peacefully in her sleep. Every staff member I spoke with expressed their condolences for my

The receptionist is super friendly and helpful to make sure that the visit went over smoothly. The vet doctor was so kind and knowledgeable! My cats were extremely stressed being in a new situation which made my husband and I stressed but talking to the doctor definitely made us a little more relieved knowing they were in good hands. Highly recommend anyone with a furry friend to visit.

I almost took away one star for the waiting that inevitably occurs. But realized it's a doctors office. Humans, animals, you never know who is going to need more time on a given day. My appointments with our adopted labraheeler are never rushed, and always thorough. Just try to get a sitter if you have little ones as my daughter got into EVERYTHING 😞
