Justin started Certified after 11 years in the fire and water restoration business. His desire to provide "World Class Service" is something he learned at T. Rowe Price as an investment advisor almost 20 years ago, but has stuck with him throughout his professional career. He has a wife, 6 kids, and is even a grandpa.
The final phase of the inspection is the basement/crawl space, structural components, electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, etc. Our inspections start at the exterior of the home. We thoroughly inspect all exterior components and often times will spend 45 minutes or more just on the exterior! Our inspection continue onto the inside of the home where we again start at the top and work down from the attic down through the living spaces.
When it comes to private wells, there 2 important factors: how much water do I have and what's in it?! Water sampling is the process of taking samples of water from the home and having lab analysis performed. Typically, we test for bacteria, nitrates, turbidity, pH, lead, and iron, but many tests are available as needed.

You will spend on average more than 50% of your life inside your home and the air quality can have a big impact on your overall health.
While a general home inspection is a very thorough inspection, it is limited in that it is essentially a visual inspection. There are times when a more intusive inspection may be needed. We offer non-invasive and invasive stucco inspections. Almost every home with stucco for exterior cladding should have a thorough stucco inspection performed.

I highly recommend Certified Property Inspection for your next home! Our inspector, Jeff was awesome. He thoroughly explained the inspection process and took time to educate me about each aspect of the home as he did his inspection. The resulting report was thorough and easy to understand.

Jeff was knowledgeable, very detail oriented and friendly. He walked us through the house and pointed out in detail what issues were currently there, what may arise, and advice for dealing with them. Jeff was unable to perform one of the requested items due to problems out of his control, and his team refunded us the money for that portion of the inspection before we even got home. His team was also able to have pest control perform the WDI test before we arrived at the property for the walkthrough. We had the full report delivered the same day. We would certainly recommend Certified Property Inspection

As a first time home buyer, everything can be intimidating so when it came to the home inspection all nervousness set in. But all of that went away with the AMAZING help from Kyle! He was so polite and informative with all his findings! He answered all questions and made sure we understood what was in front of us lol. He was punctual and thorough with the entire process. Jeff was my inspector and he was great from start to finish. I'm a first time homebuyer and know nothing about home maintenance so I wasn't sure what to expect. He walked me through all of the issues he found and explained how the systems work. He showed me where everything was, like the water shut off, and even answered questions I had about small DIY projects. I followed up with him about a report that I missed and he responded within minutes. Pricing was cheaper than another company I checked out as well. Will definitely refer Jeff to others and use him again if needed

Shawn was fantastic. We are first time home buyers, so this was my first Inspection. Shawn made it smooth and understandable. Plus he was impressionable, easy to talk with. It made the whole experience that much better. Not just Shawn was great but he was thorough. Definitely a great company, didn't miss a thing and answered any questions I had.
