ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE SERVICE A FEW WEEKS AGO! I only wish NOW I had paid more attention to the previous recent posts and NOT gone by the old BL service from prior years. Had a coupon and needed to use it up despite friends and family members suggesting I stay AWAY. Only needed minor service going in but the woman on the front desk as well as the technician saying I needed a major overhaul on a fairly new vehicle w/low miles. Any place and I mean ANY place (Walmart/Sam's) is better than dealing with these unscrupulous people! Lesson learned!

For as long as I can remember, bobby likis was the place to bring your vehicle for a pre-purchase inspection. Recently I brought in a truck which I was thinking of purchasing for my son who lives 2000 miles away. I had to ensure it was a safe vehicle. The mechanic took me under the vehicle and pointed out several things needing repair. Grand total (parts and labor) of all 4600.00!! I took vehicle then back to the dealership and had them address every repair listed. ABYSMAL service and interaction with techs and owner, Vanessa. Previous to the new owners taking over 2 or so years the name of Bobby LIKIS, I had been using this service for over 30 years. Never once had I nor any family members ever had ANY issues. If there were, Bobby always addressed our concerns In a timely, courteous. That is NOT the case with the new owner. We came in with a bus which needed to have the AC tensioner pulley and belt replaced.
Upon our initial call we were told that it could be fixed the same day. Several hours after dropping the bus off, I called to check on the repairs and was told that they had to order the parts and that they didn't think those parts were still available. I am in my 60's and have owned well over 75 cars in my lifetime, and as a consequence have had to deal with many service centers over the years. Some were great, others good, and on occasion some not so good. I have never dealt with a service center that is so stunningly incompetent as Bobby Likis in Pensacola Florida.

When Bobby Likis owned this business, it was the best., reliable honest, helpful and did great work. Always went the extra mile. Since the new owners took over, they lie, will not even take insurance checks. Their customer service is the worst. I dropped my car off June 22 And got it back August 31st. Come to fine out, the owner would not order the part for days and there was no communication with my husband or myself. As handsome as Alex is, that is about as far as it goes. I felt like they were playing "'Russian Roulette" with my car. First the transmission, then the starter, then the flywheel..." and then the real crap started. I finally took it to the Honda dealer and they told me it would be an additional 6 K. I own an 2005 Lexus that I take all the way to mobile once a year to have a full check up and typically an oil change while I'm there. Unfortunately, due to Covid 19 there were checkpoints bottlenecking I10 and Lexus wasn't providing loner cars for one day services like usual. Was sent there by car max, had car for 2 days Car max said they would pay for everything, wife was told Car max doesn't pay them we will have to use the warranty with the $250 deductible to have them top off the coolant. I arrived to get the keys to take the car back to the dealer and had to fight with the man to get my keys back. Car max said he was to be removed from their list and we shouldn't of been dir to them. While the service itself deserves one star, the manager, Rusty, definitely deserves more.
I am not the type of person to cry wolf when having a bad experience, but I feel that others need to hear about this one.
I had an awful experience with one of their senior repair guys as he came off sexist and ignorant to my face. While I was explaining my car issues, he refused to make eye contact and proceeds to only address my boyfriend. Even while giving him information for my account, he refuses to acknowledge me. After dropping off my car with an unhopeful spirit, I received a call roughly 15 minutes

I used Bobby Likis this weekend for an oil change. 1. I want to point out that friendly and helpful staff. I feel like as a girl when I go into a shop what so ever I get talked down to and the staff here doesn't do that. 2. Fairly quick service! I was there for probably 30-40 min. 3. The guy found some other problems with my car and gave me a detailed paper with pictures.

My wife, the dog and I were traveling to Las Vegas from Tampa and had the unfortunate experience of having the water pump go out in my wife's 2017 Jeep Wrangler. They took us right in and fast, which is for the one star for prompt service and the mechanics, but when i got a quote for $1036 i lost my mind! I'm a mechanic and have replaced the water pump on my 2015 Wrangler, so i know the cost of a water pump. This shop changed $600 in parts and supplys, $400 labor. My boyfriend took his F350 to him two times (within 6 months or so) for the truck always being dead and was "fixed" each time. Truck dies after sitting for three hours. Paid 3k the second and LAST time for them to say it was a tuner drawing power (I told him he shouldn't have paid since the issue was still there). Good service, though the quote I was given was SIGNIFICANTLY (!!!) lower than the actual outcome. Equipment is in great shape and employees are polite; nothing bad can be said about the quality of work. But the price gouging was pretty absurd, thus making the employees probably not as polite as they make themselves appear. While it is expected that things may not go as planned and more cost can develop, I believe that the customer should at the very least be disclosed about these additional costs before the final sale is made. Expect good service. Also expect "hidden" costs.

We have family and friends in the area and frequently make the long drive to visit. What a blessing to find a repair shop that's friendly, thorough and reasonable in price. You don't want to drive nine hours and not feel safe! The techs and mechanics double-checked everything for us, were super-nice and efficient. Very professional. Definitely recommend them.

I found this shop from Groupon and purchased a synthetic oil change. Made an appointment and waited about an hour long for the service. Afterwards I was informed that my transmission lines were leaking and that they needed to be replaced and I was quoted $400. Now that I've read other reviews I'm a little worried that I didn't get a second opinion. Four stars for now, everyone at the shop was pleasant to deal with, no surprise charges, I paid what I was quoted, my only annoyance is that I was told that I would get a call when my vehicle was ready and I never received such a call
