It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are. I really enjoyed our fall ride along the Guilford/Branford shoreline. Although it is not very far from where I live, I felt like I was on vacation for a few hours!

The scenery is spectacular and there were lots of opportunities to stop and enjoy it. It was great to have someone else lead the way so I could just enjoy the ride. Hope we can get out and do it again! Marianne & Mark have been guiding rides since 2009. Mark served as a Certified Cycle Coach with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's "TEAM IN TRAINING".

Our popular Bike & Boat Tour starts near the historic Guilford Green in Guilford, CT, about 25 minutes east of New Haven. We'll take you from the Green out to Stony Creek, stopping in Sachem's Head, once a vacation stop for 19th Century New Yorkers. In Stony Creek you'll board the Volsunga IV for a scenic one hour narrated cruise of the charming Thimble Islands.

Great way to spend a Saturday seeing parts of Connecticut coastline we never knew existed! Ride was fun and not too challenging for novice riders.

Fantastic biking experience with Mark! Would highly recommend. The scenery was gorgeous, and we learned a lot of interesting historical facts along the way. Thanks for making my birthday memorable!
